We loved our stay in this beautiful château nears Tours. A wonderful welcome from the charming countess, who cooks great meals, looks after 5 children and runs the hotel. We felt we were part of the family. We will return and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to share a unique experience. more

Chateau hotel near Tours. Lovely public rooms. Bedroom chairs uncomfortable. No proper shower. Breakfast O.K. Dinner very rich food. Friendly welcome. more

A bit of a surprise this one. A chateau up on a hill surrounded by lawns and flowers, just outside Tours. A really warm welcome from the hostess Violenne, who was fantastically helpful and utterly charming. The rooms are clean and very unusual, ours was in a tower. The bedroom was completely round, with patterened wallpaper and lots of chintz.... more

We loved staying at this beautiful guest house. Violaine welcomed us with true warmth and kindness. With 5 children the place has a family feel and we felt at times like a family friend rather than paying guests. Violaine is a dynamo who runs the house as well as doing the cooking for dinners and breakfasts. The room was delightful... more
