Le Montrachet, hotel-restaurant, is the place to be when staying in Bourgogne. It offers authentic Bourgogne style; nice accommodation; excellent food; and a prestigeous wine list. Mr. Thierry Cazanes and his crew run a tight ship. In the summer it has a splendid terrace. All very romantic

Stayed in Oct. 2014. Paid for a upgraded room, Double Room (Premier Cru). Our room was in the back of the hotel in the main building. The room was small and very dark. Only having one very small narrow 1/2 size window in the corner of the room. No window in bathroom. I felt very claustrophobic. What window we did... More

Been at the hotel recently for the fifth time and since last time the hotel and the restaurant have been remodernised and a wine-bar added. The result was great and the food again at high level. Lovely terrace at the wine-bar and outside the restaurant. The room are reasonable priced and the hotel is a perfect stopover when you are... More

Well, we chose to stay at La Maison Olivier down the road and did not choose to stay here but we did opted to try this 1-Star Michelin Restaurant as there are not too many choices in the village (only 4 according to TA restaurants listing). The entrance of this hotel cum restaurant is lovely with a very nice garden... More

I've been comming here for some 10 or 15 years, first with my parents, when it was still a small hotel, now I' bringing my own kids. Excellent kitchen (try the escargots and chicken!). The village will make you forget time for 50 weeks a year, but during grape harvest the place is buzzing!

Very good accommodation ( not super Luxury, but seriously good) with excellent restaurant and very attentive service from good friendly staff. A very good "half way house" for those travelling from north to south. This was our second visit and will stay again. Food very good, but our expectations were higher for the prices charged.

Stayed here for one night and decided it should have been more. Good room finished to a high standard. Reception rooms very spacious and pleasant. Did not dine at the hotel as we had a prior reservation elsewhere, but would not have any problem dining here on a future occasion. Secure car parking for those who require.

WOW!What a lovely place to stay. Hidden away in the heart of Burgundy this hotel offers some of the best wine and food you could wish to eat and drink. there is a garden terrace and spacious indoor seating and dining. It is a dress up kind of place in an understated way. Four of us dined and we all... More

We had a room where the sound proofing was so bad that when the person in the room above us flushed the loo, we thought they were actually in our room. As they did this at 1245am (having thumped up the adjacent stairs very noisily ) and at 645am , we did not have much sleep. The room's view was... More

This is the perfect overnight stop from London to South of France. It had recently added a new restaurant with terrace serving a huge choice of local Montrachet wines and a cheese board to die for. Rooms are comfortable and a good size just love this hotel. A great little village to sample the local wines!
