This was the perfect place to spend a night en route to the South of France. It is only a short drive from the main north/south motorway. Our English hosts were charming and helpful, recommending both restaurants and wine merchants. We slept in the annex which is a beautifully renovated stone barn/stable adjacent to the main house. It was spacious... More

It was a great pleasure to stay at the Domaine des Anges. It's a beautiful house decorated with a lot of taste (you have to like English cozy/fancy atmosphere). Mrs and Mr Nicholls are absolutely charming, very friendly with a great sense of humor. Breakfast is fantastic not to duplicate what other customers had to say. Very comfortable rooms and... More

We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived at this lovely house. The lounge area is beautiful and we were given tea and scones on arrival. Celine and John are the kind of people that you do not want to leave. They are interesting, helpful, funny and charming all rolled into one great bundle. They were actually the highlight of... More

My wife and I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay in Puligny-Montrachet at Domaine des Anges and fell in love with both the village and John and Celine's place. The hosts John and Celine are an amazing English couple who have an elegant and charming bed/breakfast around the square in village of Puligny-Montrachet. They serve a wonderful breakfast and I hear... More

John and Celine are gracious hosts of a beautifully renovated property which is walking distance to the 4 restaurants in the little village. The village is centrally located for touring the Burgundy area and we appreciated being in a quiet, charming area. If you are staying for more than a night, definitely book the suite as it is the most... More

This is an example to all those who believe they can create and run a hotel. The owners John and Celine,we learned, created the hotel from a derelict building some years ago.it is impeccably appointed and tastefully decorated. The welcome and service provided was superb as was the room, the bed could easily cause a missed alam, breakfast was a fusion... More

Elegant house fronting main square. Beautifully appointed, comfortable accommodation. Charming and knowledgeable hosts. Excellent continental breakfast. And if you get the chance of a dinner by Celine, take it!

We stayed for 3 nights and we had a fantastic time. Celine and John were the perfect hosts and could not do enough to assist us. Staying at Domaine des Anges you did not feel as if you were staying at a B&B or hotel, it felt as if you were visiting friends yet you were given space to relax... More

We stayed at Domaine Anges for three nights recently and throughly enjoyed it. John and Celine are very welcoming and were very helpful. A few notes... I'd recommend the Bienvenue-Montrachet room which is the one that is separate from the house. It's bigger and maybe a bit more private. If you stay in the main house, there are parts of... More

We stayed for two nights in August as part of a 'drive around Europe'. The property is charming situated on one corner of the village square. John was there to warmly greet us on arrival. Our room was lovely, very clean and comfortable - with a view of the square. We had decided beforehand to indulge in dinner - which... More
