We often stop in the Beaune area on the way to the South of France. We liked the look of this place during our last visit to Puligny. Friendly and efficient reception, good sized room and bathroom , a balcony overlooking the square. We ate in the restaurant, which offers a fixed choice menu combined with a wine tasting -... More

A tiny gem in the midst of some of the worlds best wines. The food always sastifsfies and the service is always very good. With one of the Leflaive brothers always dropping by over dinner to chat and welcome guests it feels like a visit to a friend. Do not let

our previous visit to this hotel was to purchase wine en-route to the South of France and experience a wine tour with Ingrid followed by a Tasting luncheon.-superb value and not to be missed. This week we elected to stay in a superior well appointed bedroom with dinner from a small bur excellent a la carte menu. The food was quite... More

Excellent wine, an excellent dinner and a comfortable room, all in wonderful Puligny-Montrachet. Large, comfortable and quiet room - a good night's sleep after eating well and drinking superbly! It's a simple formula with good, welcoming service. Officially approved of by our terrier, even though he claims to be TT.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a special birthday treat for me, and we were not disappointed. We did a la carte one night, and the tasting menu on the second. The room we had was on the top floor and looked over the square. Everything about this place is great. The food is exceptional, the wine team are... More

We had our first experience of La Maion d'Olvier Leflaive about 10 years ago, stopping in Montrachet for the night and to pick up some wine on our way to our skiing holiday in the French Alpes. We had stayed in this little village several times before but here was this new hotel/restaurant with the "charming lady figure" outside welcoming... More

There is no doubt that this is a beautiful hotel set in a quintessential French village square. It is very well equipped and decorated using good quality furniture and fittments. Our room at the front was spacious, very clean and well presented. The bed was first class. The staff are well trained and use good customer care skills. That said... More

This was the most wonderful experience! It definitely was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in France. We booked the hotel and La Table package and would definitely do it again. While it is not inexpensive, it was quite an experience. We started with the cellar tour with Olivier LaFlaive. He was a delight! He enjoyed answering questions... More

There are two town plazas in Puligny-Montrachet, the lovely, landscaped one and the other, poorly maintained and noisy one the Maison d'Olivier overlooks. The locations are important as the two major hotels, Maison Olivier and le Montrachet, command each plaza. Maison obviously got the second choice location. We found rooms at the hotel acceptable for comfort but not for noise... More

Dear Robin, Thank you for taking time to talk about your experience. Sorry to read that you are not satisfied by your stay at the hotel. It's true that your room overlook the public plaza where of course few children are allowed to play after school... is that nosy or just the demonstration of joy to leave in countryside... Next...
