Looking out over the Mesopotamian plains from our window, or one of the three terraces in this hotel, is the highlight of our stay. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed both, although only instant coffee at breakfast :( The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

This is a smart and very modern hotel built in and onto an old building - without any compromises. The front faces onto the main street of the old city and the resaturant, terraces and some rooms share a stunning view over the plain of Mesopotamia - magical and atmospheric at night. The rooms are comfortable and stylish, the water... More

I stayed at Reyhani Kasri Hotel for two nights very recently and this was my second stay at this hotel. I must say that I enjoyed the hotel even better this time. The hotels location could not be better in the heart of Old Mardin. The rooms are very comfortable and decent size, the view of Mesopotamia Valley from my... More

This is a very special hotel in Mardin. The rooms are clean, well-decorated and have AC. The staff is friendly and helpful. The best aspect of this hotel is it's wonderful location- right in the center of the antique Mardin town (which is the point of going to Mardin) and the DELIGHTFUL breakfast (12 kinds of cheese! fresh herbs! homemade... Be aware your room may face a wall with a small window. Though the hotel has very nice view of the mezzopotamian valley. Ask for a room with a view. The standard room size is okay for two but not for three. They have good breakfast. The staff is very nice but the reception is not good at giving you... More

This is a great little modern boutique hotel right in the middle of the historic centre of Mardin. While modern, it has been built so as to totally fit in with the wonderful limestone architecture of the town and so still has a measure of character. I paid a little more for what I hoped was a good room and... More

*pats herself for booking this hotel* Despite reading positive reviews about the hotel, I was a bit uncertain and nervous about what to expect because I had to make bookings on behalf of my in laws as well. It's always a tricky situation booking for someone else, you are never certain if they would like it or not. I was... More

I booked the hotel through booking.com. The single room was supposed to offer a view. When I arrived, the single room opened onto a wall, making it necessary to switch the light on at all times of the day. Quite depressing. Apart fom that (big) problem, the hotel is ok. I wouldn't say full of charm as some other guests... More

How delightful to end a day of walking through ancient ruins, to walk into this modern and elegant hotel. An attentive doorman was always available to help with packages or my three-wheeled walker. He carried everything right up to our 3rd floor room. The clerk at the reception desk always remembered our names, and never failed to greet us. The... More
