First of all Mardin is a fascinating town perched on a rocky hill with narrow streets that go up and down. Erdoba Evleri is composed of a few palaces with different names and different types of accommodations . The Turkish travel agency to which I turned to for my journey proposed me to stay at Erdoba Evleri but when I... More

We (2 adults, 1 child) spent 2 nights at this hotel. Fantastic location overlooking the flat plains of Mesopotamia. The architectural structure of the hotel and surrounding buildings make you feel you've stepped back in time a few hundred years. Very attentive staff and nice rooms..ours had a fab enormous bathroom.

Hotel has a good location and comfortable. Breakfast is regional. Cheese was salty and traditional. It was not season, but ıt would be better to put some traditional Mardin cookies. Hotel was almost empty. City has a long historical past. Buıldings are old houses and storages with their tales. To stay in one of these buildings was very interesting.

Stayed here for two nights on a tour of Eastern Turkey. Just loved the place: the location in the centre of the old town; the small, pleasant room with a wonderful bathroom; the hotel facilities - a terrace with a wonderful view of the top of Mesopotamia and the lounge with a traditional layout and furnishings; the friendly, helpful staff;... I arrived to Mardin without any plans of how long and where to stay. It was an assumption to try first Hotel Erdoba Evleri where, first, I stayed one night. At the reception I asked if it would please be possible to get a room with a nice view. After I entered my hotel room, I was speechless – that... More

This was the second time I staid in this hotel in Mardin and I must admit it was twice a very agreable experience. You have to climb a lot of stairs for every activity (going to your room, going to dinner or breakfast,....) but this is valuable for each (boutique) hotel in Mardin. Rooms are very well maintained, excellent (modern)... More

We stayed at the Erdoba Evieri on a Troy Tours tour of Eastern Turkey. The food was good and the view fantastic, though we did wait an hour to be served on one occasion. Unfortunately, we stayed on a holiday weekend and every hotel room in the city was filled. We went down more than 100 steps and along confusing... More

Erdoba Evleri is a wonderful place to stay in Mardin. The view of the plain from the terrace is stunning. The staff are really friendly and helpful and serve you tea whenever you sit down. The rooms are private and very quiet. Also impressive is the breakfast buffet with lots of selection. This is a professionally run hotel that offers... More

The oldest boutique hotel at Old Mardin. But still no improvement. The rooms at the main building are small, ugly and overpriced. The rooms at the other two old houses well... I can't say "overpriced" they are sky rocketed like 200 - 300 Euros. Somebody must teach them the real meaning of a boutique hotel.
