Great location outside town center of Grenoble. 5 minutes walk to bus which takes you easily to the old town. Free parking. Nice château building. Good room, though view just to the terrace. Great dinner, had the less expensive menu, fantastic crème brûlée. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Coffee machine out of order, cheese beginning to sweat, no good bread,... More

We spent one night here on our way back to Paris from Cannes. It was perfect for our visit as we just wanted to relax. It is a very cute little chateau with a relaxation spa package which was very nice! The rooms are quaint with a very large bathroom and there is a nice pool / seating area which... More

One of the more unusual hotels I've stayed in on a business trip. Rooms though a little dark for business, are large with decent desk space and plenty of power outlets. Comfortable beds and very quiet. Very pleasant grounds with jasmine-clad pergolas and views of the mountains from the pool and outdoor seating areas. Restaurant menus are varied and the... More

It's a real pleasur to reed your comment. You're perfectly right: it is a family-run hôtel, with some good things and some less, but we always try to make our guest the happiest possible. We will be please to welcom you for your next stay in Grenoble. M de Beaumont More

It was typical of a few hotels that we have found, where they really think it's amazing, but it isn't. The price is not inexpensive, particularly if you include breakfast, but the facilities don't add up to what they are promising. There was no sizeable lounge or bar, so unless you wanted to stay outside it was limiting. The rooms... More

Dear sir, I'm a bit disapointed when I read your comment as our hôtel is a family run 3 stars hotel and we don't pretend to offer a amazing 4 or 5 stars hotel. We just offer a nice place to have a stop close to Grenoble city, but with the charm of an old house. Nevertheless, I'm glad you... More

Stayed for one night as part of an event. Didn't have time to try the pool, but all was very well taken care of, drinks, food etc very good, and the room very large and comfortable. Separate toilet and bathroom.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights 17/18 June 2015. The building with very small grounds is close to the centre of Eybens . The reception staff were friendly. Our room was upgraded to a very large ground floor one. One problem was that guests had to pass it to access their rooms and the net curtains did not... More

Dear sir, I just read your comment and I went to check your room which has a terrace. You're right, there is a little angle from which the curtains doesn't cover all the window. It is really tiny, but it is ! It will be corrected today. ( it just needs to fixe the curtains to the wall - if... More

What's there to love? It's a very charming hotel, in a historic building. Located on the outskirts of Grenoble. The dining / breakfast room is a dream. Lovely historic setting. What can be better? The room I was staying in, outside of the main building was very tired. It's time for a major update to get it back to the... More

This was a stop over hotel before embarking on Route Napoleons, and what a shame it was only one night. Driving into Eybens, we were a little worried by our surroundings, however once you've turned into the drive, you feel like you've entered into a different world. Beautiful old building that takes your breath away. Lovely grounds, small pool, spa... More

We stopped here for one night, it is the perfect location for picking up the route Napoleon the next morning. Great hotel, unfortunately the first room was full of mosquitoes but they were more than happy to move us. Ate at the hotel restaurant, beautiful dining room, service a little slow. Lovely hotel all in all.

Regrettably we can't mark this hotel any higher as our stay was on a Sunday and Monday night - the 2 nights when their restaurant is closed. However, the manager was kind enough to suggest and book a wonderful restaurant - Chez le Per Gras - which is a must when visiting Grenoble. Not just offering magnificent food the view... More
