Stayed at this stunningly situated hotel for a whole week, very quiet and ideal for re-charging the batteries, however, apart from the receptionist, the staff were a little aloof, would have been nice while sitting around the pool to be asked for a drink now and then, but unfortunately you have to go up to the terrace!! The menu for... More

We had a lovely stay here, very quiet and serene: we were practically the only ones by the pool every day which was lovely. The service was mixed - one fabulous waiter but otherwise fairly slow but we weren't in a rush so that didn't matter so much to us. The one thing I would advise is to avoid the... More

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch with the best views of the holiday. Delicious food, salmon, beef fillet, fresh fish, lamb cutlets that melted in your mouth. Friendly staff, not cheap but worth it. Grand piano is available for guests to play.

we had a family meal here with relatives that live close by. the setting is idyllic - a lovely terrace with lights in the trees over looking the valley and hills beyond. however the good was very, very average and the service very, very slow, even by French standards. the whole place, staff, food, atmosphere, it just didn't seem cohesive... We needed to find a location near our driving route (Gorge du Verdon) and did a search on Google Earth to find this spot and it did not disappoint. Although the property is new it looks to be something from the middle ages but with all of the modern amenities that you would expect. The view from the terrace and... More

Our visit was a little out of the season, so there was only a few people at that time. This also meant, that there was also very small occupation and sometimes we had to serve ourselves. But the hotel was great, view magnificent and environment nice and clean. Perhaps they could lower the prices during low season a little bit.... More

Had New Years lunch menu. Delish. Children well accommodated with appropriately adjusted courses. Staff very friendly. Easy parking. Quite relaxed atmosphere. The only downer was the choice of dessert. While quite refreshing, tropical fruit in Europe at this time of year is hardly seasonal.

This is a very special place. Stayed in August for two nights. Arrived to a spectacular entrance to stunning grounds and impressive country chateau style villa. An incredible backdrop to the Alpes Maritimes. Very welcoming. We had room 23 on the second floor which had a lovely view towards the valley and front of hotel from the bedroom and the... More

We stayed at LBT and had a great time. Typical the pool was freezing but the Tourtour area is so fun. The rooms are small and older but that's what you should expect in a grand old building. The village is superb to walk around. Enjoyed all the restaurants. The hotel restaurant is great but a bit expensive especially the... More
