This property is set on a farm, and is about a 1.5 km walk from the village of Tourtour, so it is quite isolated. The room was very clean, reasonable spacious and had a nice view of trees and pastureland. Though somewhat rustic, but I thought the decor tasteful. The bed was comfortable. The receptionist provided a warm welcome when... More

This hotel is set in a rural spot overlooking a meadow where you will see goats, horses and chickens roaming. It is lovely to sit on the balcony, extremely peaceful. Food is good, sometimes very good. Receptionist speaks good English and is helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Whether it was the end-of-season tristesse, the darkening evenings or the fact that guests were very few, this hotel seemed sad. Vast public rooms are filled with ill-assorted drollerie, mis-matched furniture and an odd collection of antique agricultural equipment but even all this scarecely fills the gloomy, uninhabited corners of this architectural agglomeration. On the other hand, bedrooms are large... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of a cycling holiday. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location, and well furnished. We had a large and comfortable room which was spotlessly clean and had a small roof terrace. It could have done with a ceiling fan or air conditioning as it was very hot. Breakfast was fairly typical... More

A group of classic car owners stayed here for 3 nights in September, When we arrived the afternoon sun was blazing into our lovely room facing the pool and countryside, we couldn't believe our luck. The large balcony enjoyed the setting sun and we enjoyed the pool. The staff were most helpful and attentive, the lovely Korean receptionist spoke good... More

What a lovely hotel. We arrived after a day of cycling uphill in headwinds and high temperatures so headed straight for the pool. Don't be put off by the towels on the sun loungers as these are not reserved by other guests Benidorm style - they are provided by the hotel. This is a lovely touch and was very welcome.... More

This was a truly amazing hotel. A refurbished abbey which has retained some of its original features but has been modernised. The pool area is so relaxing and calm, with gorgeous views across the fields The staff are friendly and helpful with fantastic sized rooms and lovely food. A fantastic place for a relaxing break, or as a base to... More

We stayed for 2 nights during August, as part of a cycling holiday. Our room was lovely - large, clean, spacious and light with a comfortable bed and view of the pool and the countryside beyond. It's in a secluded spot which is lovely and peaceful, the pool area is particularly special and was a great place to relax. The... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of a cycling touring holiday. The hotel is about 2 miles from Tourtour and then down a long driveway. The rooms are large and nicely decorated and our room with balcony looked out over the hills with grazing sheep. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool plus small sauna and gym.... More
