Stopped for an overnight stay and booked the family chapel suite. This is a duplex style apartment with a very large ground floor living area with stairs leading to a mezzanine which has a double bed and 2 twin beds - great for a family of four with 2 very young children (under 12). The room was clean and comfortable.... More

We had booked a package "3 course dinner, B&B+ one visit of a champagne cellar with free tasting, 1 hour Aqualis and bubbles (bottle of champagne)". And it was wonderful, the room is great and comfortable bed. The hotel has an outside swimming pool that was perfect as the weather was nice. The Aqualis was just wonderful - a real... More

We had a stopover here on the way to the south of France. Very attractive setting. Reasonable room with a balcony overlooking the mill stream. Very clean and comfortable but probably due for updating. Plenty of safe parking. Reasonable dinner, although the accompaniments to my fish did not really go - a bit like two meals on one plate! Very... More

Hotel is set in lovely grounds with a beautiful stream with water wheel to admire over drinks on the terrace seating. However hotel is set away from the towns and has its own restaurant which is the only local food available which is a bit pricey. Rooms are a good size but need to be redecorated as paint is old... We chose this hotel as a convenient over-night on the way to the French alps. Lovely setting, old mill house with the wheel still in place and beautifully quiet despite the proximity to the high-speed rail link. A new manager working hard to make it a special place, good food and lovely comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel proposing a fine food and all kind of wines (naturally including Champaign) with a cute spa. Great service coupled with a nice environment (lakes with bunch of different sports starting from bikes and ending by water-skis) makes the stay romantic and healthy :-)

The proximity of Nigloland doesn't detract from a very pleasant hotel which provides an excellent stopover on the way to or back from the Alps/ South of France. Rates are reasonable and we got an improved rate by booking direct with the hotel. The half board deal was also good value and the food presented was very good and the... More

We stayed here overnight early in the new year when a good many hotels were closed for their winter break. The water mill has been converted into a restaurant and dining room full of character. An extension houses the main bedrooms of similar size which is adequate and with nice balconies for warmer weather. Our bedrooms were comfortable and everyone... More

Even though slightly off the beaten track from the motorway this was a good stop over on the way to the Alpes. Exactly half way from Calais it worked well. The room was fine and the bed was so comfy, and good curtains, we slept so well! The main man was extremely attentive and friendly.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Around 40 kilometres from Troyes, this former eighteenth-century water mill, which has been entirely renovated, welcomes you to its authentic and relaxing setting. Use the “Aqualis” space at your leisure and your pace; enjoy the hydro massage bath, the Finnish spruce sauna and the multi-experience shower in order to awaken your senses. The dining room overlooks the river where the water wheel, which still works, is a real attraction. The rooms are all comfortably equipped and have private balconies that open up onto the wooded park of Landion. In winter, gather with your friends or family in the convivial atmosphere around the fireplace in the lounge bar; in summer, the riverside terrace or the garden and its heated swimming-pool provide places to relax in. ... more   less
