Despite some of the mixed reviews we arrived to find ourselves in a clean room that was warm, no leaves on the balcony (does it matter really ?) and lots had been done to modernise most of the common parts. Really comfortable bed!!! We had an allright meal, the menu was just too long and the place wasn't busy enough... More

The hotel is located in the country side of the Champagne region. You need to have a car to get there and will take no less than 15-20 min to get to some bigger towns. If this is not a problem for you, then, you are in the right place. We chose the hotel because we wanted a break from... More

This was a one night stop on our way back to England. It was a disappointment because large parts of the hotel need refurbishing and updating. There didn't seem to be many staff on duty whilst we were there, and all the staff were male. Evening meal was a disaster (for me especially) - I sent one steak back because... More

We stopped here for a night on our way to Italy, wanting to be slighly off the 'beaten track' and needing private parking and a dog friendly hotel. Part of HOtels and Chateau Collection, the Moulin du Landion is in a tiny village not far from Troyes. Easy if not secure parking, pretty main building with a modern, boring looking... More

Stayed in the converted chapel suite. Separate from the main hotel and really ideally for mum dad and the kids. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food really nice. Not busy at all. Kids had the pool to themselves. I understand where some reviews say the place is looking tired but it seems that there is a programme of upgrades going... More

A converted watermill set in a peaceful village close to Bar Sur Aube and not far from the A26. The room was quite small and did not have tea/coffee making facilities. However the ensuite was perfectly adequate. However, the restaraunt was an absolute delight, serving excellent set menu and a la carte cuisine. There were plenty of locals enjoying the... More

The room was comfortable and clean. Good Parking. The stairs and upper hallways smelled of drains. The restaurant looked promising and we had seen positive reviews. However, for us, it was a very disappointing experience. One first course contained smoked fish that tasted 'off ' and was slightly warm. My second course was, unfortunately, fish that was cold and thus... More

We stayed here on the way back from the Alps. It's about 4 hours or so from Calais. The standard rooms are not big but they have a decent size bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The balcony could be a nice spot to sit in the summer but on both of our visits it hadn't been cleared of leaves... More

Le Moulin du Landion was the 8th and final hotel used during our 15 day classic car tour to Brittany and back. It was chosen simply as a one night stop over as a more or less mid point for the remaining distance back home. Easy enough to find and more than sufficient private parking space (an important aspect for... More

We have stayed here several times over the years and it does not fail us. Yes, I do think the rooms could now do with a face lift, and the balconies do not seem to be cleaned, )bathroom certainly tired and very functional )but its simple charm as a stopover hotel is its worth to many travelling through AND the...
