This chateau hotel is an excellent place to stay. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the restaurant is excellent with good choice and prices, and the location is calm and in the middle of the nature. Great facilities for families and couples alike. Large outdoor pool. We particulary loved our tower room and the dinners in the fantastic restaurant. The breakfast... More

There are few hotels in Condat-sur-Vezere, so it would not be surprising for this hotel to be ranked #1, but its ranking is not due to lack of competition. After having investigated and stayed in a number of hotels in the Dordogne, this one is special. Obviously the setting is particularly special. It is simply gorgeous, and details like being... More

We enjoyed this beautiful castle nesting in a quiet green village of Dordogne. It's a true castle experience with different rooms => ask to visit and choose your own... The tower is great courtyard is charming. Regarding service this is not as great as the building expectations... the breakfast is as bad as a Ibis breakfast... no taste and supermarket... More

Oh my what a prize at the end if my 6 days cycling through southern France. Beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, pool, tennis courts, gardens. What can I say but OO LA LA. Michelin rated. So peaceful and beautiful. The restaurant looks amazing. Stayed in the cottages. Simply Devine. Little balcony to just enjoy the beauty!!!!!!!

My wife and I stayed overnight here and enjoyed our stay. The checkin checkout process was very efficient and all staff members were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the double comfort rooms and whilst it was basic it was clean and well maintained. This was our first stay in a Chateau and we enjoyed the atmoshere... More

I stayed at the Chateau de la Fleunie for one night in July whilst on a driving holiday through France with my husband and 7 year-old son. I had really high hopes for the Chateau, but came away feeling disappointed. The hotel was beautiful, and I had booked one of the tower rooms so this was also very beautiful -... More

We stayed in the Tower of the Castle and it was wonderful. Clean, large and very comfortable. Agree that the plastic glasses in the bathroom is a little odd for such an establishment, but they happliy sent up a wine bucket and galsses atour request. Ate there twice in 3 days and it was FABULOUS!! Staff are great and the... More

I went there perhaps three times all in all because they had at that time a pastry chef that justified the detour..honestly never had such a wonderful carrot cake ever since... Moreover, it was an especially good deal at that time as i was on the road all day long trying to convince f&b managers of the quality of the... More

I recently stayed at this beautiful chateau hotel while preparing for Spyns 2012 Tour de France package tours. We've booked a block of rooms next July for a Dordogne to Paris trip. I was thrilled with our choice. Driving up to the chateau was one of life's 'pinch me' moments. Located a few miles from the nearest village, the castle... More

My husband had booked a suite on the first floor and the main bedroom was wonderfully large. The children shared a large room just off the main room and loved staying in this magnificent home. The bathroom was enormous with a large luxurious bath tub. Don't pour in too much of the beautiful bubble bath they supply otherwise you will flood... More
