We arrived a day early for this booking and the woman at reception was very nice and luckily they had our room free. The grounds are fantastic. The pool is very big and fun for the kids. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. My kids loved the updated bathroom with jetted tub and a shower with... More

On our recent drive through the Dordogne, we stayed two nights at this gorgeous castle. Our room was in the round turret tower and it was truly a royal experience. The room was huge - very modern but with a medieval feel. Breakfast and dinner in the lovely dining room were both wonderful. The chateau is not far from the... More

Booked a tower room that was atmospheric at beautiful Chateau de la Fleunie and toured around using this estate as our base for a few days. It was restful and quiet. The staff was excellent and attentive and friendly. Breakfast was good and dinner was excellent! The restaurant is not open everyday so we adventured into Sarlat for another fantastic... More

If you are looking for a quiet countryside location to stay this is it. It is very quiet and peaceful in the beautiful French countryside. There is no traffic or huge crowds of people. We stayed here for two nights while we visited the caves and castles. It was fun staying in a real castle. Our room was clean, quiet... More

We were here for a weekend wedding. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Every meal was excellent. A nice getaway location. Beautiful pool area and patios for enjoying the late summer weather

It was fun to stay in a castle, but maybe not worthy of a repeat; the inexpensive room was what you'd expect. It was large, clean, and comfortable. The location was difficult to find, though not too far from the nearest cave or from the canoe trip. The restaurant had excellent service, and very good food. The real attraction, if you... More

This chateau hotel is an excellent place to stay. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the restaurant is excellent with good choice and prices, and the location is calm and in the middle of the nature. Great facilities for families and couples alike. Large outdoor pool. We particulary loved our tower room and the dinners in the fantastic restaurant. The breakfast... More

There are few hotels in Condat-sur-Vezere, so it would not be surprising for this hotel to be ranked #1, but its ranking is not due to lack of competition. After having investigated and stayed in a number of hotels in the Dordogne, this one is special. Obviously the setting is particularly special. It is simply gorgeous, and details like being... More

We enjoyed this beautiful castle nesting in a quiet green village of Dordogne. It's a true castle experience with different rooms => ask to visit and choose your own... The tower is great courtyard is charming. Regarding service this is not as great as the building expectations... the breakfast is as bad as a Ibis breakfast... no taste and supermarket... More

Oh my what a prize at the end if my 6 days cycling through southern France. Beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, pool, tennis courts, gardens. What can I say but OO LA LA. Michelin rated. So peaceful and beautiful. The restaurant looks amazing. Stayed in the cottages. Simply Devine. Little balcony to just enjoy the beauty!!!!!!!
