A little gem, don't judge a book by its cover! Friendly service, clean room, and suprisingly good cuisine very well presented. We had a super evening meal and wine in a restaurant that was popular with both locals (always a good sign) and guests. We wanted to leave our car and trailer in the car park until lunchtime, while we... More

Owner speaks good English, we were given a room in the attic, there was no lift with a spiral staircase with polished wood steps winding up in the centre of the hotel, very awkward to climb especially with our dog! Owner helped with luggage up the stairs. Unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems apart from the restaurant. Car park some... More

Again were turned bedraggled , been cycling all day in the rain! Despite this the proprietress, ( was charming & spoke very good English ) sorted us out & showed us to our comfortable over looking the rustic court yard. Comprehensive menu with local delights to sample e.g Marinated tuna in sesame seeds, shredded oxtail + complementary amuse bouche. After... More

We booked in the Hotel based on the positive reviews and we were delighted with our choice. The room - even though a bit on the small side - was nicely refurbished, all facilities were modern and functional (which is not always the case in France). The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And: The dinner in the Restaurant was... More

A really well positioned hotel in the centre of the village.Rooms were recently updated and the staff were attentive (although they had left by 20.00hrs) Restaurant was closed when we stayed, but it was a Tuesday in winter Downside was a fairly meagre breakfast and difficult stairs going up the middle of the hotel.

We stopped in Clecy and enquired at this hotel on spec and we were certainly not disappointed. This is a very traditional hotel at the heart of the pretty village. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and offered a choice of rooms. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The ambience of the dining room and... More

Nice hotel in centre of town but not a lot of facilities nearby. Room was small but comfortable, and very quiet! Food in restaurant is excellent, breakfast spread also good.
