Location: Yes, it is on the flight path so therefore can be noisy - but we soon got used to the noise. Our apartment was very close to the complex of 'San Blas' which consisted of many restuarants, bars and a nightclub. They had lots of offers for the credit crunch - averaging out at a 2 course meal for... more

Stayed at the Sand Club apartments. Clean, friendly staff, but very basic. Uncomfortable beds and curtains falling off. No radio or TV. The pool area was depressing with a boarded up bar. The resort of Golf de Sur is characterless. There is nothing Spanish about it. There is no beach nearby. Don't go. more

Had a large living area, fairly large bedroom and bathroom and a decent patio area to sit out in. Apartment came with a 4 ring hob but no oven or grill - good job we were eating out. No kettle is supplied but can got from reception for a small deposit (apparently people steal them, would you believe). Same applies... more

Me and 3 other girlfriends went there for a week in March, the weather wasn't so hot, but the place was great. arrived at reception and had to phone for someone to come down. An oldish guard came down and let us into reception (NOT 24HOURS) anyway he was pleasant enough, spoke barely no english so we practiced our terrible... more

Our apartment had everything you needed. Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, iron & board, hairdryer. 4 ring cooker & oven, full size fridge/freezer. We loved it so much we are going back next February for 4 weeks. Owner very nice to contact, bookings can be midweek or anytime, & you don't have to be out at any particular time, meaning you... more

We booked our apartment directly with the owner and after reading the other reviews I was glad that we had! We were very pleasantly surprised with our spacious, well equipped apartment. We had no need to deal with the reception so had no worries there. The pool area is nice, with plenty of sunbeds, although the pool bar has obvioulsy... more

looked pleasent enough when we arrived, little did we know. Chainsmoking receptionist (when open) who "didn't have another room for us to move to" when we discovered how filthy our appartment was, one change of towels in the week, buy your own loo paper, the list goes on. Lots of residents on the site who were helpful and new the... more

Booked this cheap holiday at the last minute. Had some reservation as there were some bad reviews, but in my experience people who have had a good holiday rarely write reviews. Sad to say that all the reservations materialised. The apartments were lovely, the complex was well designed two story apartments with lots of regional character in an area cram... more

I agree with the majority of other reviews. If you want a really nice apartment with all the facilities of home - avoid the travel companies like the plague. Go to a private owner, the difference is huge. We made the mistake of using Jet2 package holiday. The flight prices were great but we paid more than the going rate... more

The complex was very difficult to find in the dark and we had to drive 3 times round a lengthy one way system . Reception was a very small building and the advertising sign had nearly faded away. Good points - apartment was spacious for 2 of us , full size bath and 5 minutes walk to lots of restaurants... more
