I was in need of an overnight stay somewhere in the Skipton area. My 'go to' choice was booked so I sought an alternative. I consulted the Good Beer Guide as wherever I stayed had to fulfil two very importantant criteria; be within walking distance of a railway station and serve good Real Ale. That's how I found the Mason's... More

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the length of the Pennine Way. Excellent in every way. Room, especially the quality of the beds, was just fabulous. Food and atmosphere great too. It was the only place along our 19 day journey that provided bowl, towel & biscuit for the dog (even though most places charge for the dog... More

Stayed here whilst on a boating course on the near by canal, this is a great pub b&b that is truly dog friendly, he even got his own towel, bowl and lovely blink biscuit each day, great food (especially the brekkie) and good choice of ales/wines at the bar, the village is lovely too

We stayed in the masons arms b & b for two nights mid week. Lovely area. Pub was great, locals very friendly. Breakfast lovely and varied. Room was clean and comfy with a variety of choices of in room beverages. John the owner was really good and couldn't have done too much for us. He was really informative and happy... More

A lovely traditional pub serving quality food at a great price - ate here for dinner and breakfast and both were fantastic. Would definitely eat here again if we were in the area. Keep up the good work.

Happened across the Mason's Arms on an Easter trip to Mallom Cove. Looks nothing special from the outside but its a different story once you venture in. Some may find the decor a little old fashioned but the food and service were spot on. No pub chain plastic rubbish here, its all home made and comes in king size portions.... More

Myself and a party of 8 booked in for Sunday lunch. The pub was lovely and warm inside with a big open fire roaring. The service was brilliant, very efficient waitresses always checking that we had everything we needed. The food was great and all came together. I would particularly recommend the sharing platter as a starter. Generous portions and... More

Having previously visited and enjoyed a meal at the Masons Arms, we recently returned to stay for a couple of nights, and were made to feel very welcome by John, Nicola and their staff. The food is excellent and we enjoyed everything we tried, including the lovely breakfasts. The rooms in a converted barn are delightful, very warm, comfortable, well... More

We met up with my very good friend and her husband who were visiting the UK. We hadn’t seen them for number of years and were recommended the Masons Arms by my friend’s parents. We thought it would be a great idea to meet halfway house and stay over. The Masons is a lovely stone built, traditional pub with easy... More
