The Hotel Ibis in Shipley is not in the same league as the Marriott or De Vere Hotels of the world but holds its own in several ways. We would normally stay at the nearby Hollins Hall when in the area and as we could not get the rooms there we required we decided on this one - Hollins it... More

Friendly staff. Large room. Comfortable bed. Clean. Shower drain blocked but was fixed for the next day. Mingy supply of teabags etc. Asked to be left more for the 2nd night but these didn't materialise. Our mugs were not washed by room service. Lots of noisy people in the corridors until late at night. Thought night staff must have been... More

I stayed one night here in August 2014 whilst cycling the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. I also wanted to take in the Salt's Mill Gallery to look at the Hockney artwork. I arrived mid-afternoon, and my room was ready. First floor room - good size, good shower-room. The staff were very accommodating, and allowed me to secure my bike to... More

Excellent location for lots of things including Salts Mill and Saltaire , Skipton, Keighley and Worth Valley railway and walks along towpath of Leeds to Manchester canal. Lovely room, comfortable bed, excellent value, friendly staff. Near various good Indian resturants and next to Fayre and Square ( Noble Comb). Hotel menu basic and simple. Good well lit and secure carpark... More

Good, well lit car park. Excellent reception staff who were patient and carefully explained everything I needed to know. Big modern room. Spotlessly clean. The bed was surprisingly comfy and had decent pillows too. There was even liquid soap by the sink and shower. I wasn't expecting that from a budget priced hotel. I'd brought ear plugs, just in case... More

We stayed here before an early morning flight from Leeds-Bradford airport. The room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. Very good for the price we paid. The only niggle I have was the smell that was coming from the toilet. Not overpowering, but not pleasant all the same. There is also a pub on site which was... More

We needed somewhere for the night as we were at a party in the area...only £30 for a Saturday night for a double room was great value. Free parking, clean, comfy bed, good shower and quiet. There was an area where you could get drinks and food which was nothing special but convenient. Within walking distance of Saltaire centre. Only... More
