Large comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast plenty of choice The owners Val and Mike could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Ex bikers themselves they were happy to let us use the garage to store our bikes. Always on hand to help even when our pals bike broke down. Nothing was ever a problem for them. Keep your eyes peeled for the turning into Buck Lane off the busy Otley Road , and 100 yds along the Lane you enter a hidden valley of peace and tranquility. The silence is only broken by birdsong and the occasional complaint from horses as you enter through secure gates and find yourself beside the substantial traditional farmhouse set in... More

We have stayed here before and just love it. The location, the large bedrooms, the food and the sincere Yorkshire friendliness of Val and Michael. Dressing gowns are in each room, fresh milk is always available - an overall genuinely relaxing time. Close to the River Aire and Salts Mill/Saltaire.

We have just returned from a very relaxing break at Ford House Farm, we are very pleased that we chose the home of Val & Michael. Everything was just perfect a wonderful couple that could not do enough for us, booking tables at restaurants helping with luggage. Our room (pink room) was 5 * with large comfortable sofa & a... Lovely experience staying here at the weekend, really friendly owners and a delicious breakfast. Was amazed at how lovely the rooms were for such a reasonable price, and the views were wonderful too. All in all a great stay and made a special weekend even better!

Looking for accommodation near the Yorkshire Dales, I came across Ford House Farm near Shipley. I read all the reviews, e mailed my sister to look too and then booked a four day break so that my sisters and I (and husbands) could take dad to re-visit lovingly remembered places. Could our accommodation really be that good? We arrived on... More

Our room was a stunning, large and beautifully decorated room with every comfort. The bathroom and shower were great. Bath robes were also provided. The location was fabulous with views over the lovely garden & paddocks... More

After being battered by traffic all day, what a relief to turn down the almost invisible lane and relax in a garden surrounded by herbaceous borders looking down onto a field of grazing horses and stately trees. Our first floor corner room was fresh and comfortable. The shower is excellent - Val said it is a "rain head". I want... More

We have just enjoyed 2 wonderful days based at Ford House Farm. The b&b is just 3 minutes' walk from the Leeds-Liverpool canal in a peaceful green setting. Val is a superb hostess - nothing too much trouble - and her breakfasts are first class. Our ground floor bedroom was very spacious - always good to have a comfy sofa... More

Ford House Farm is in a lovely setting with fine views over the countryside. No traffic noise and plenty of birdsong. The rooms are well furnished, large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The proprietress was a fount of knowledge as to where to get a decent pint in the evening. If you are looking for accommodation in this area... More
