Well I am a 19 year old Australian boy who had travelled all this way to trial at a football club nearby! I was taken to my room and given a talk about what I can and can't do at the hotel which was fine but felt as if he thought I was a young teenager who was going to... More

Very poor service towards myself and my friend. Patronising is a compliment to be honest. Seemed to regard me and my friend as a young person looking to party. Wouldn't allow us to check in early, even though a room was available and we had a wedding to attend. Would not recommend this place to anyone based on the reception.

The man that owns the guest house has 2 of my friends staying with him, who are both blind, this weekend. When they rang up to book they told him that they were blind and diabetic. He said that was fine, and said he'd put them in a downstairs room. My friend Grania Brennan told him that she and Jonathan... More

Although I was staying alone, I booked a double room as I find single rooms quite cramped. My room was very welcoming with lots of interesting added extras and everything was clean and well presented. Even with the windows open the room was fairly quiet with only limited noise from the nearby road. The public areas were delightful with a... More

We booked a double room. It was well equipped, stocked and clean, the bed comfortable and the owner took time to explain about the room, breakfast (any time to suit us) and locality. He was friendly; there was plenty of choice for breakfast and easy parking at the front and we could come and go as we pleased. All in... More

I was very disappointed with the service by the owner of The Norwood. I found him rude and arrogant. I would not stay here again and do not recommend it to others. The rooms themselves are clean and well equipped although I booked a double / twin and only received a single. If there are any problems do not expect... More

The male guest arrived along with another male who stated that they were both booked. For 49.00 the man was aggressive rude and very discourteous to our management and insisted that he had booked for two persons to stay. On investigation th problem was found to be with him and it was found he made a reservation for one person,... More

My average view of the hotel is excellent. Pro: The rooms are very luxorious, with extras I cannot find, only in the highest quality hotels. There was a lot of small thing which made me fell more home, and cannot be found in other hotels. For example next to the DVD player every room has a collection of new 4-5... More

Only stayed here for one night as part of a mid-week break in Lancashire. The room was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of coffee/tea and complementary toiletries. Really couldn't fault it. Unfortunately we had to skip breakfast as it was a little too early for us because we wanted to have a lie in.

As usual this B&B was booked by my office. I arrived early, 14:30, only to be told that I couldn't book in until 16:30. I returned at 16:30 and found the place locked so I disappeared and returned at 17:30 to be admitted and show to my room. The room was a single equipped with the usual, TV, DVD player,... More
