We stayed here for one night, the owner was very friendly and helpful and assisted us in booking a trip to the Doñana (which is a MUST, beautiful). El Rocío is such a special place... it felt like we had arrived on another planet. You'll love it.

This hotel has a spectacular location overlooking the lagoon. We could watch the flamingoes from our bedroom. They organised a private guided tour into the reserve - 150 Euros for four hours. This was absolutely fantastic and I would really recommend this over the cheaper bus tours. It would be difficult to find a hotel that could beat the view.... More

The hotel, the location and the rooms are all great. I stayed two nights and the service by the receptionist/manager was surly. Now in my book life is too short for surly service, and I will definitely choose another place next time. And I even speak Spanish.

We stayed at the wrong hotel in El Rocio. It was a great disappointment as its potential was never reached and for €175 a night it was overly expensive! We had the luxury Room 8. It is absolutely splendid - huge with large sitting area and picture windows overlooking the marsh. The bed is good and the bathroom well appointed... More

we stayed here off off season and were the only guests. we treated us to the suite (room nr 8), which has direct views onto the lake - unbeatable. the suite itself is also really charming and in a unique style. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, we got a really nice picknick for our departure day as we... This is a gem of a place. Our room, the general areas and the outdoor areas were all superb. The room was appointed to a high standard, both in terms of practicalities and decoration and furnishings. We only stayed for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the veranda and the fabulous location overlooking the marisma.... More

Visiting Doñada parc makes you an appetite. This is the place to go for your lunch. Good ambience and wide selection of food. Friendly service, and beautiful view. To stay the night over it's better to make your reservation in advance.

We were initially disappointed to be allocated a rather basic room despite having paid extra for a superior room but after one night we were upgraded to a superb room (room 8) which was spacious, bright, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Best of all, from its balcony it had superb views over the lake, which is filled with flamingos and other... More

Enrique and the staff at La Malvasia were incredibly nice and helpful. We very much enjoyed our time at the hotel: our room was lovely, as was the entire facility--lots of old-world charm. We especially enjoyed the bird paintings throughout the hotel and in our room, and all the framed bird photos (taken by Enrique himself). For nature enthusiasts and... More
