Stayed in this hostal for one night on the way to Doñana national park (early morning visit). It is located in the Western-style village of El Rocio. The room was apartment-style, with 1 bedroom, one pre-room with a sofa, a kitchenette and a bathroom. Staff was nice, the room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. I did not have... More

OK this is NOT an hotel, but a hostal. That said it is as good as an hotel, and in some cases, better. My wife and I plus 2 friends (all 60+,but looking 30!!) spent 5 days there, from 26th Apl, on a birding trip, for which the area is renowned. So many pluses. Reception was first class, rooms were spotless,... More

Would recommend the Hostal. Most comfortable Helpful and attractive staff. Room air conned which is essential as the area is pretty warm from early season. Like most Hostels not all rooms have outside window, some overlook the courtyard.

The reception and cleaning staff were great, very helpful and cheerful. The room was very clean and serviced well each day. We found the room to be dark and a little depressing to spend much time in, the rooms have been converted from a studio apartment and the only storage are the old kitchen units, a mobile hanging rail with... Of course you do not get lots of luxury If you only pay few euro for at double room incl. Breakfast. But you get a very clean room incl. Regular bathroom with shower. Nice breakfast and a hotel near the center of El Ricio and near the sea, where there are many different birds.

A really great place, with spacious rooms, with a fridge (great for storing beer), and an excellent shower. Probably one of the best things about our stay was the hostess, who was incredibly friendly, and always wanted to help. I don't really get it when people say that the hostal wasn't in the centre of town... I suppose it wasn't... More

It is nicely placed and not too far to the marsh where you can see the sunset and sunrise and the birds. However if you know Spanish it is better. But the google translator is amazing way to bridge the gap. Breakfast is light which for us is better. Gives room to have the other meals in town. And of course... More

The windows of guest rooms open into a large covered courtyard, which helps develop smells in the rooms. They used a strong and nice smelling detergent however, so this really wasn't a major issue. The place looked recently renovated, everything looked nice and modern, in perfect working order and spotlessly clean. The young woman at the reception desk was friendly... More

Even if we had just one night, they made us feel at home. Not just the extraordinary friendly service, but also the newly furnished and modern room we got, fully over exceeded our expectations of a two star hostal. We definitely plan to come back since one day was far too less for the beautiful region.

The hotel was pleasant and extremely clean. Rooms included kitchenette and large fridge and were large enough and pleasant. Bathrooms were good too. All this at a really reasonable price. But the best part of this small hotel is the staff: Soledad, the Manager is a great professional and is extremely caring about all guests. She really contributes to make... More
