Stayed at the Hostal el Anon for three nights at the end of May. On arrival I was stunned by the design of the hotel. The hotel is a perfect match for the beautiful town of Jimena de la Frontera. The hotel is quirky and has a wonderful layout as a result of being the result of five houses being... More

We booked as part of a large group in Jimena for a friend's birthday - we pretty much took over the hotel. The architecture of the hotel is what strikes you first. It is unassuming from the outside but the hotel is actually made of 12 houses cleverly joined together to form the rooms, dining spaces etc. This means that... More

Hostel Anon is a wonderful place, I would recommend it to anyone planning a visit through Cádiz. The room is charming and had a very comfortable bed, and a rain shower! The resturant has very friendly staff and the food was delicious. Also, I love the lush plants in the center of the hotel. Great place to relax for a... More

Very friendly host. Great breakfast. Smaller place with local atmosphere. Nice nature. Very steep streets. Apartment was ok but a little dark and humid. Love the restaurant - food is good and locals also visit.

My friend and I stayed one night at el Anon, few seconds after our arrival, we wished we booked for more nights. Unfortunatly we already booked out next stay, and couldn't cancel out booking anymore. The hostel has a great authentic feel, it is very relaxing place, with great views and a great hospitality! The luch and dinner were some... More

Our philosophy of travel is to wander around with a sketch of a plan and an open mind, spending more or less time in a place, depending on what unfolds. El Anon grabbed us right from the start. As Suzanne led us up and down through the maze of terraces and courtyards that make up the public spaces at el... More

Jimena de la Frontera is a neat, old town in the middle of Andalusia's vast farm land and the Hostal el Anon is the jewel of the town. The property is very old, but extremely well kept, so it is a fun experience to stay in an authentic Andalusian building. Every detail from tiles in the bathroom, to stained glass... More

Hostal El Anon was one of the first establishments we were introduced to when we first came to the white hilltop town of Jimena de la Frontera in Andalucia with its Moorish castle on top. It is a boutique hotel with a nice rooftop swimming pool, a restaurant including an almost all-year outside terrace with a view straight to the... More

We always receive the warmest of welcomes from Suzana the owner and her team. We have always been extremely well looked after. Tucked away in the old village of Jimena de la Frontera, El Anon is a retreat from the hubbub of the coast. Its 12 rooms have their own character. The layout of El Anon is such that one... More
