This hotel looks like an ordinary terraced house from the outside, but on walking through the front door, one cannot help gasping. It is huge and built in the traditional style around an internal patio. Each room is large and comfortable and decorated with flair giving the place an Ir of faded elegance. We had a huge terrace overlooking the... More

What a cool Casa. Absolutely charming, eclectic, different, relaxing. Years ago it was the home of a Doctor and the rooms cover two floors with reception on the ground floor and bar and meals on the floor underneath but as the Casa is sits into the wall, even these have views out into the countryside. A great base for walking... More

A beautiful old building with matching decorations and furniture. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, the ones at the back preferable because of the superb views up to the mountains.A basic tapas lunch is available in the basement bar where breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice is provided. Melissa the host could not be more welcoming and helpful. In all,... More

We enjoyed New Year's Eve dinner and entertainment here with a great group of people! It was a fabulous, fun night! The place was packed from the onset and after midnight the bar was opened to the locals as well, creating a great Spanish New Years Eve. The food was good, although they could have used a few more staff... More

The house has a central atrium so you hope your fellow guests will be considerate since noise travels. Melissa is very helpful and the town is a good centre for exploring the area.. The walk along the river is well worth doing..

The photographs do justice to the Hotel Casa Henrietta and its old-world charm. We arrived mid-afternoon when siesta was occurring and it took a while to get anyone to answer ... we rang the phone number on the note pinned to the door. Once inside the beautiful entrance had us hooked. We had a room with a balcony (lock was... More

In a picturesque village serving as a peaceful stop on our Andalucia drive tour, Casa Henrietta is a find. On off-season with few tourists, the room prices and eating &drinking out was very reasonably priced for the value. Car can be parked on the street. Art exhibition downstairs. Nice hotelkeeper. We chose the big room with balcony with a view.

The hotel is located in a relatively recently restored large old house in the main street of Jimena. The views from the rooms on the valley side are gorgeous. On the street side you get to glimpse the castle through skylights in the upper floor rooms. We stayed in a top floor room with a terrace looking out over the... More

Picturesque shabby chic recently renovated inn around a coivered courtyard. My room on 1st floor had a beautiful view from a small balcony. There was an unpleasant odour of stagnant drains, but a change of room was offered immediately.Unfortunately the lift was out of order for the whole of my stay. No telephone in the room. Breakfast was looking out... More

Set in a sweet pueblo blancas where the streets are as wide as the car, this gem, with incredible views is perfectly located to wander through town. Lovely room with views across sweeping countryside BUT entrance and our room were freezing. Wifi only available in the entrance lobby but it was too cold to sit there. It was only warm... More
