We often dropped in for tapas - lovely! - but proper meals looked very good, too. The bedrooms looked really nice - the best we saw in six months in Jimena (Dec 2013-June 2014, we were staying a few km out of town). My son, who has lived in Jimena for two years, also rates Casa Henrietta highly. The owners... More

We stayed here just one night and thought Casa Henrietta was delightful. A typical old large Spanish townhouse with a fairly large courtyard at the back, rooms tastefully and recently decorated and nice and big, large & firm & comfortable beds, two chairs in our bedroom not just one (always a good touch), large bathroom, terraces of various sizes for... Parallel Parking is on the main street outside the hostel! on a fairly busy, very steep hill. I was not aware of any free parking at the hostel. It is a rustic old house but has seen better days. Yet has charm. There is lots of information in the foyer for hiking and long walks. And services on offer in... More

Very nicely restored old village house - probably one on the nicest B&B we stayed in Spain. Everything is very tastefully decorated - it really makes you feel in a special place. Breakfast was pretty basic but everything was of good quality and fresh. Free parking on the street is available. The only complaint - and I am not the... More

Lovely room, decorated traditional Spanish style with bright colours! Lovely stone clad bathroom with option of bath/shower duo, rooms have a nice view and are a good size also. Beds very comfortable-not too soft/too firm. Only trouble is, being in a town very noisy, something upset all the dogs of the village at 2am, but this is not the hotel's... More

A week's choral singing on a music course in Jimena necessitated a comfortable hotel, convenient for our rehearsal venue, and within comfortable walking distance of all the village's amenities. Clean, well-equipped, nicely refurbished (loved the bathroom tiles!), this little gem met our needs in spades! Melissa, the owner, who is half-English and half-Spanish, is delightful - so helpful, naturally speaks... More

This hotel looks like an ordinary terraced house from the outside, but on walking through the front door, one cannot help gasping. It is huge and built in the traditional style around an internal patio. Each room is large and comfortable and decorated with flair giving the place an Ir of faded elegance. We had a huge terrace overlooking the... More

What a cool Casa. Absolutely charming, eclectic, different, relaxing. Years ago it was the home of a Doctor and the rooms cover two floors with reception on the ground floor and bar and meals on the floor underneath but as the Casa is sits into the wall, even these have views out into the countryside. A great base for walking... More

A beautiful old building with matching decorations and furniture. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, the ones at the back preferable because of the superb views up to the mountains.A basic tapas lunch is available in the basement bar where breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice is provided. Melissa the host could not be more welcoming and helpful. In all,... More
