Hold your nerve as you drive down the track to La Vina de Linan, it's well worth it. Although the house is just 10 minutes' walk from the bars and restaurants of pretty Jimena de la Frontera, you feel as though you're in deep countryside when you stay here. The surrounding vegetation is almost sub-tropical, cicadas chirrup, raptors circle overhead... More

I recently spent a night here and was overjoyed at the discovery of a secluded retreat with breathtaking views and lush surroundings. The owners Val and Pat offer thoughtful hospitality and ensure that all your needs are met. This is a wonderful base to explore the area and also a superb option if you simply want to get away for... Many thanks to Val & Pat for their great hospitality during our 7 night holiday in mid June. Nothing was too much trouble, and were always on hand if needed for advice on the best places to eat and visit. The breakfast's served on the terrace were large and varied and kept us going all day! The views of the... More

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend in June and had an absolutely wonderful time. Pat and Val (the hosts) made us feel truly welcome in their stunning guest house that has the feel and views of a wilderness retreat but only a 10 minute walk to the town. Thank you for a great stay, I would... More

Thank you Val and Pat for yet again, another wonderful stay... We love staying in La Viña de Liñan not only because of the wonderful service (for example, Val picked us up from the train station) and atmosphere (comfortable clean rooms with lovely decor, cosy fire place in lounge, relaxed etc. ) but because there is a very special feel... La Vina de Linan is truly a 5 star guest house. It provides expansive, comfortable and characterful rooms, including a large lounge for the exclusive use of guests, a large, well furnished terrace and good sized swimming pool. The taxing steep drive up to the guest house is worth it as the views across the valley are spectacular and the... More

A fantastic place to spend a few days relaxing and exploring the lovely local area. The views across the National Park are beautiful and it's just a few minutes walk down the lane to explore the walking trails through the park. Pat and Valerie are very welcoming and thoughtful hosts and really added to our stay. The rooms are tasteful... More

My son persuaded me that we should visit Spain for the first time in my life and we decided that La Vina de Linan would make an excellent base for a week's touring of the area. How right we were! Valerie and Pat were charming and very capable hosts and looked after our every need. The property is situated in... More
