Stayed overnight on return from south of France We were unprepared for the fairy tale nature of the resturant/hotel, and I dont mean happy ever after. Maybe my expectations were too high, but this hotel is close to a very busy road; the room was big but smelly; restaurant nice but overpriced. Have stayed in better hotels in the region.

What a lovely building, landscaped garden and interior - what a pity it is right next to a grain cooperative with huge silos. If this doesn't put you off, it's excellent otherwise. the village and river are very attractive. The chef is aspiring and is very good - inventive, interesting, tasty and very well presented.
