It's a small hotel with comfortable rooms which have been recently refurbished. Rooms are of good size, clean and quiet (but you'll hear the bell of the church at 7 am). The mattress is of good quality. An ipad will fit in the safe. No air conditioning, but the room was cool in mid summer. There is a garden with... More

We wanted to visit Mont St Michel and this hotel's location suited us perfectly. Away from the crowds and in a peaceful, well-kept village completely surrounded by the Normandy countryside. The hotel is situated on the main road through the village, next to the church. Initial impressions of the outside of the property are good and inside we were not... More

Everything about this hotel and restaurant were excellent. The welcome was good the rooms clean and well decorated and the wifi signal strong! I ate from the fixed menu and had very well presented tasty fresh food. Service was good. Breakfast was tasty. Difficult to find fault! Will certainly return when next in the region.

We have stayed at this hotel three times now and it is always a very pleasing experience. The rooms are tastefully furnished though the bathrooms are a bit small. There is always a warm welcome from Ailine the Proprietor. The restaurant is first class with an interesting and imaginative menu. Breakfast is lovely with plenty of bread croissant and home made preserves.... More

We spent the night at the Gue du Holme on our way to Mont Saint Michel. It's in a small town about 20 minutes from the Mont, so a great location to stay away from the crowds but close enough to get an early start on a place that gets very crowded later in the day. Very nice innkeeper greets... More

On arrival The Proprietor Aline made us feel welcome and valued, cutting a phone call short in order to attend to us. The room was clean, bright and had a view over the quiet garden. The restaurant was fantastic. Together with my partner we were celebrating my 60th birthday. Again Aline gave us her personal attention and her husband, Dany,... More

Ideal for couples & families. Very quiet and peaceful hotel with nice garden. The hotel is very clean and staff very welcoming. Breakfast costs 11€ and was good with omelette, bacon, bread, butter, croissant & pain au chocolat, fruits, yogurt, muesli, ham, fresh orange juice and coffee/tea. The restaurant is really nice with fine cuisine. You can also go to... More

We stayed at a B&B near here a few years ago, so decided to go back to the village for this stay, and booked the hotel. The rooms are very tastefully furnished, clean and well provided. We had a room that overlooked the garden. The late afternoon beer in the sunny garden and breakfast before we left was lovely. We... More

Our room was nicely decorated & overlooked the garden & terrace. The bed was large & comfortable. There was a small bathroom with separate toilet. The shower was hot although you had to adjust the temp with the taps. We had a meal that night on the terrace. I had langoustine to start & my husband had oysters. This was... More

I travel a lot for business and all too often, holiday hotels fall short of the standards and facilities I am used to. This hotel was an exception. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. Bathrooms are also large and clean. The owner could not have been more helpful- giving directions for day trips and restaurant recommendations when the hotel... More
