The Elstree Inn is good clean budget accommodation. The rooms are basic and somewhat tired, but they are clean. There are tea making facilities, a TV and trouser press. There is wifi also available. The staff are friendly and helpful. The best thing is it is near to the station, but also has plenty of car parking space. I visited... More

As a frequent visitor to London I have stayed in many hotels and this is my favourite. The friendly staff, good location, clean and comfortable rooms and free Wi-Fi make the Elstree Inn the best value place to stay.

Newly refurbished room with tv and DVD in room. Well whoever newly refurbished this place was either blind or didn't use new paint, carpet, beds or anything else may I add. After looking in the wardrobes and under the bed thinking someone was playing an adult version of an Easter Egg Hunt I couldn't find said tv that clearly states... More

We stayed in this hotel in order to visit a show at a local theatre. To find that it was above Wetherspoons was an extra bonus!! The way to the room was a bit wibbly wobbly way, but the room was clean.

Let's face it, for the price, in London, it is not going to be the Ritz. It was basic, bed wasn't the finest but perfectly adequate for one night, especially as it is so very convenient for Strictly. And the welcome was first class. The people who rubbish it are not being realistic. I'd stay there again if we were... More

I'm sorry to have to write this review as the lady on reception was lovely and very helpful, However, this place needs a health warning. I am disgusted that booking.com have this place on their website it should be shut down. The room initially looked okay but once we had had a proper chance to look around I can say... More

It may not be the Ritz but perfectly acceptable for self employed business people like me on a budget (no extravagant company expenses here) Staff were very welcoming and friendly and everything you need is there. OK it could do with a bit of TLC but so some can some 4/5 star hotels. Give it a try but understand what... More

Staff were lovely and helpful. Beds were very uncomfortable just springs with thin cover. Luggage rack fell apart when we opened it, we mended it but opted to our put cases on the floor. We used the towels to make the bed more bearable but when I went to get them off the towel rail, that collapsed too! At this... More
