An extremely clean, friendly and comfortable place to stay. We received excellent service and cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast selection was excellent.

The room was very clean & included tea/coffee making facilities (which were lacking in 4* italian hotels...) The walls are not very soundproof & bangs from down the corridor & next door were heard but a good nights sleep was had anyway. Toby carvery next door did all you can eat breakfast for £3.99 & had a good variety Only... More

Spent one night at the Travelodge, Borehamwood. We didn't immediately find the reception entrance (adjoining it is the Toby Carvery and they had a much more imposing and appealing entrance). The Hotel is a typical budget hotel. Rooms - o.k. with one or two things that we thought an improvement on another popular chain i.e. full length mirror, full length... More

The hotel is looking a little tired and need a little touching up. However, three of us stayed in a triple room and it was adequate. The bedding was clean and the room tide. The extra bed was a little hard but ok. Staff were polite but not very knowledgeable as they did not know where the spare pillows were.... More

Staff were very welcoming, parking is shared with Toby Inn and was plentiful. The room was absolutely spotlessley clean and fresh. We had a lovely nights sleep and didn't want for anything whilst we stayed there. We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and this was a good size with comfortable beds.

An interesting Travelodge experience and one of contrasts. A group of 12 people and I had no complaints from my guests. Let's start with the positives - an excellent value hotel with a Toby Carvery next door serving great value breakfasts and dinner. This made our stay so convenient. The rooms were reliably comfortable, relatively clean and simple - just... More

I stayed here again by choice, this time in the 'old' part of the hotel, not the extension I was in last time. You know what? I suspect the 'old' hotel was refurbished a couple of years after the 'new extension', and as such I thought it was actually a bit nicer. It's great to have an actual bath, even... More

The standard of cleanliness of the room was excellent and the bedding and towels comfortable and clean. It's true that the corridor areas and room doors and bedroom furniture need updating but Travelodge make no secret of this when you book. The welcome was friendly and we had an undisturbed nights sleep. On a cold February night the room was... More

Unfortunately this is not a purpose built Travelodge, so it has a lot of fixtures and fittings from its previous identity - for example ageing cupboards and tables. However, it does have the new-style beds and pillows, so not all bad. My room was on the ground floor, overlooking a bleak fence and buildings, but hey, I didn't go for... More

Borehamwood Travelodge is situated close to the main shopping and restaurant area. There is a large Tesco and a McDonalds within easy reach. The Travelodge is easy to find travelling from the A1. It shares a site with a Toby Carvery. There is free parking on site. We arrived on a busy Friday evening and still found it easy to... More
