due to working in Trafalgar Sq on the Sunday I decided to book 2 rooms for my wife and I plus two others who were helping us. the price fitted within budget, the rooms were extremely clean. My only "grouch" was I had booked breakfast for the 4 of us but hadn't clicked on the "more" info link....They don't start... More

Stayed here three nights with two friends so that we could visit London. The only triple room we could find in the area. Had a king size bed and two pull out 2'6" beds (firm but need mattress toppers as springs a little noticeable to an adult). Still managed to sleep well though. The rooms were spacious, clean, fresh. Tea and coffee... More

We had a very comfortable overnight stay at Borehamwood. It is recently refurbished and the rooms have less furniture and are therefore more spacious. We had a family room with 2 beds for the children in and there was still loads of space. Highly recommend this hotel. It was convenient for Harry Potter World where we went the mornig after our... Without GPS I doubt we'd have found the Travelodge. We arrived after 11pm but were let in almost immediately. A good nights sleep, but TV didn't work. Room a bit cold and then too warm! Good choice at breakfast, but undisciplined children running around opening jams and butters marred it. Either staff didn't notice, didn't care or intimidated by parents... More

This is one of the best Travelodges I have stayed at, well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The bar/café was clean and offered a good range of food and drink.

Hotel is in a convenient location. The parking cost me 6 pounds for 48 hours which is mentioned on the website. The bar is open 24 hours and some food is available. The staff were extremely welcoming. The rooms are basic, which is what you expect for a budget hotel but everything was clean. Breakfast was nice, with a buffet... More

When my sister and I arrived at the travel lodge we were welcomed by two friendly and happy staff members by the names of Tona, and the IBI manager. They were happy to accompany any need we had, and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. While travelling around Europe like my sister and I are doing, it's always nice... More

Visiting family nearby, even with the £3 charge for parking the Travelodge was cheaper than the nearby Premier Inn. This has been recently refurbished and it was a good standard Travelodge hotel. We didn't eat at the hotel but there is a BP garage next door to the hotel with a Marks and Spencer inside which is convenient if you... More

We stayed here (Jan 2015) because we had a family funeral close by and it was a 4 hour drive for us so needed to stop the night before with our 3 & 6 year olds. On arrival we found out we had to pay £3.00 parking. No staff on reception. Door that leaded into hotel was very close to... More

Don't forget this is a Travelodge - not a "posh" hotel. Clean, warm and comfy bed all very important but don't expect shelves or drawers - you need to live out of your suitcase. No bedside tables as such so room can get messy if you are staying more than one night!
