FIrst visit to the hotel, for a 2 night stay, and unfortunately most likely the last. Location & hotel from outside is impressive but the deeper you go inside the quality decreases. We stayed here for one night and found this hotel to be very relaxing and friendly. Booked through open roads which directed me to the lateroom.com site. Double room to myself on a Thursday night for £50. Good value. Located just outside Lanark it is a 10 minute uphill walk to the town. The hotel is well back from the main road and the rooms are quiet.
