As a family with four kids we regularly struggle to find suitable, affordable accommodation. This was just about perfect! Our "waterhouse" cottage was HUGE, with kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms (one of which was enormous) and two bathrooms - all beautifully appointed and equipped, and with large windows (and windowsills) perfect for gazing out over the river. And... More

Quiet area set up for us and afternoon tea was lovely. Good service. New Lanark is an unique experience for its history and scenery and the hotel and leisure suite are of a very high standard, but not too big.

Got a voucher for stays in unusual places and we chose New Lanark Mill Hotel as it wasn't too far to travel. All the staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay particularly the bar staff. We had lunch in the bar on arrival which was very reasonably priced and we had dinner in there too but were given the... More

We went as a family of 3 and got a room with two double beds, it was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that the room was quite warm and we couldn't seem to turn the radiator off. We ate dinner in the restaurant on two nights and both times it was delicious, the service was prompt and... More

The hotel is very nice and the scenery is stunning. We stayed there for a night as we attended a wedding that day in Coulter and next day we took the chance to visit the heritage centre,as the hotel is part of it, which was very interesting. Rooms are clean, big, spacious, bright and well decorated. The views from the... More

Five of us visited for a night night break, and were impressed with all aspects of New Lanark. The rooms were clean, and spacious, bathrooms excellent. The staff could not have been more courteous and helpful, and we chose to eat in the bat. Food was well cooked and presented, the choice was good. One of our party required gluten... More

The hotel is nice , just needs to have the windows cleaned .., spacious rooms and beautiful bathrooms , unfortunately no internet even at the restaurant ; is was slowly working only in front of the reception. We had the bad idea of having dinner there .... The bread was coming out from the fridge and very dry ... They... More

I was given a voucher for here at Christmas for a evening meal for 2 so before it expired I thought I'd give it a try. I phone on the day (Saturday) and asked if I could come for lunch instead of the ravening meal. No problem, table booked for an hours time very friendly. Got there had a look... More

Made a return visit to New Lanark and once again it was a wonderful experience. I had booked accessible rooms and they were really wonderful - no problems with showering etc. The food was again "to die" for and the value for money on the "Robert Owen Experience" is just superb. Will certainly be returning again in the near future.

Room - great Location - Fantastic - all part of the World Heritage site which means an evening walk is a unique experience. The Falls of Clyde and magnificently restored buildings make it a living museum, where you get the chance to live within the historic site in luxurious accommodation. Service - Great, including secure storage for our bikes. We... More
