Friendly welcome from Caroline and the warden. Lovely en-suite room. Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of lovely dining room furniture and food cupboards in the dining room and very comfortable lounge area where is wifi and plenty of information available.

We needed a one night accommodation before we exited Scotland on our way to England. What a find Wee Row Hotel was! Extremely friendly staff; large, clean room with a fridge. However the treat was a view of the River Clyde in such a peaceful setting. With opened windows, nothing like being lulled to sleep to the sound of a... More

I needed to book four rooms for my husband and I,our three children and their partners and our three year old grandson for a wedding we were all attending in Lanark. There is very little choice of accommodation in Lanark itself and nowhere that had four rooms available. I had previously stayed in the Mill Hotel in New Lanark, which... More

Light bright hostel. Welcoming warden. Well equipped members kitchen. Great place for a stopover with teenagers. Would happily come back and spend more time. Lovely to lie in bed with the window open listening to the sound of the river rushing by.

Amazing hostel. Comfortable and close to everything: right INSIDE the World Heritage site and the museums of New Lanark, steps from the fancy hotel (use the facilities for a small fee or just dine or drink there), easy access to the very pleasant and easy walk to the waterfalls and the peregrine watch and the hydroelectric dam. If you don't... More

Our group of 28 stayed overnight at the Wee Row hostel on the 30th of April and can't speak highly enough of the accommodation and the staff. The rooms were all spotless and the staff sorted out any minor niggles in record time. Special thanks must go to Scott, the manager, and Siobhan who who went out of her way... More

This "youth hostel" hardly does it's name justice as it's more of a hotel than a youth hostel. The setting is absolutely beautiful on the banks of the Clyde River. Finding it can be a bit of a mission, but with most GPS / Satnav units listing it these days it will be a breeze. our rooms were super clean... More

Hi There, thanks for such a nice review. We will pass this onto the new owners. The Hostel is now called "Weerow" Hostel and is run by the New Lanark Trust but is still affiliated to SYHA, we have informed Trip Advisor of the change in property but will again. We have a good relationship with the hostel so we... More

We stayed here for the Commonweath Games. Accommodation is basic (but cheap!), the location is amazing, steeped in history. Warm welcome, we had breakfast each day which was good. The only small point was the the window in our room didn't open so it got pretty hot, other than that everything was ok. Really enjoyed our stay.

The hostel is located in one of the New Lanark buildings, part of the historic mill and workers' tennements. The hostel's main attraction is its good value for money and location. You can wander along the Clyde and to the falls at night when all the tourists are gone; there is a wildlife walk too. The self-catering kitchen is small... More

Basic accommodation in line with price, great cooked breakfast and rooms were fine, shower temperamental but no worse than some hotels ive stayed in! Never stayed in a youth hostel before and would definitely do it again for a budget stopover.
