My subject says it all! The mini pier breakfast is fantastic, and credit to the little lady chef that cooks it! Always hot and well presented. Like I said earlier, it gets better on each visit, like Andrea!

Lovely seaside town and pierI nice long walk along it from Porthcawl to rest bay for the surfers. Great fish and chip shop on the front and donkeys in the summer. Also the fair on the sea front is great for the kids

Had a breakfast here on a sat morning, was very very busy and there was a 20 minute wait but we were happy to wait. When the food came it looked beautiful, I can't describe exactly why but it looked clean and well presented, no grease in sight, it was not the biggest breakfast I've ever had and certainly not... We had a superb cooked breakfast here today :-) Friendly, helpful staff, prompt service and substantial, "freshly cooked to order" breakfasts with some of the best bacon we have ever tasted. We will definitely be visiting regularly!

Always have a mini pier breakfast here when I'm in the area. I find it the best around! I now also get a smile from the gorgeous Andrea! Keep up the excellent service and keep smiling Andrea! I'm sure this cannot be beaten in the are, as I've tried all those other so called restaurants in the vicinity, e.g. The... More

If you visit Porthcawl like I do on a regular basis, visit the Pier for the mini Pier breakfast, it's the best you'll have in this area. Always fresh, hot and quality and quantity are excellent. I can now say the attractive slim blonde lady is now much more friendly since my last review! Keep up the standard!

When I'm in porthcawl I always go here for their breakfast. I have the mini pier which is adequate for me but they also have the pier which is a monster! It's always fresh, hot and tasty! Only one small comment. The attractive Lady who appears to be some authority there could be more friendly to a regular customer and... More

We arrived in porthcawl on 15.09.2013 and were blown into the bar and asked for a room for the night. We were given the key to room one, after walking up the stairs through the cloying smell of chip fat(the cafe kitchen is on the first floor and the industrial toaster and black bags on the landing.)We arrived at our room....
