Called in with my Son on 24 7 15. Most of the patrons were eating the breakfasts, and who can blame them! We had the mini pier breakfast, at a cost of just £9 for the two. As usual it was excellent. I have reviewed this place many times, and will continue to do so. My Son said when we're... More

We stayed with relatives in Porthcawl, they took us to The Pier for breakfast and it was the best full Welsh breakfast ever! The staff are really friendly and helpful, they treat you like a friend. If I had to get somewhere to stay in Porthcawl, this would be top of my list.

As I was in the area on 14 June 2015, seeing a Client, I decided to call in for a Sunday Lunch, having been here several times in the past. Once again, the Pork dinner was excellent, hot, tasty and plentiful! It amazes me how visitors like myself or the people in Porthcawl are not queuing out the door for... More

Good comfortable clean rooms. Lots with sea views. Occasional shower issues can be resolved by using shared bathrooms. All rooms are ensuite though. Prices negotiable, dependent on length of stay etc. Staff are helpful, especially the owner and his wife. Food available every day.

went there for lunch. Excellent food, quick service and they were happy to accommodate our 3 year old by making him a drink and charging less. Very clean and welcoming. Will definitely use again. The staff were extremely friendly and they even provided toys and colouring stuff for the children

My Wife and I have been visiting Porthcawl recently and have had two Sunday Lunches here! On both occasions they have been excellent in quality/quantity. Do yourself a favour if your in the area on a Sunday, have a treat. Also I can recommend the breakfast! We will be seeing you regularly from now on!

My subject says it all! The mini pier breakfast is fantastic, and credit to the little lady chef that cooks it! Always hot and well presented. Like I said earlier, it gets better on each visit, like Andrea!

Lovely seaside town and pierI nice long walk along it from Porthcawl to rest bay for the surfers. Great fish and chip shop on the front and donkeys in the summer. Also the fair on the sea front is great for the kids

Had a breakfast here on a sat morning, was very very busy and there was a 20 minute wait but we were happy to wait. When the food came it looked beautiful, I can't describe exactly why but it looked clean and well presented, no grease in sight, it was not the biggest breakfast I've ever had and certainly not...
