Fantastic location, amazing food, friendly staff. Second visit here and it won't be the last. Cosy open fires, seafood is second to none, the views are stunning. Rooms are small but very comfortable. If you want a truly relaxing break then this is the place to come.

came across this restaurant by accident as we were meandering on a walk from the holiday cottage. looked busy but managed to score a table a bit later in the day. had the most glorious piece of salmon with lobster thermidor. just delish. The kids who aren't big fish eaters were catered for. we weren't really dressed for such a... More

We stumbled upon this place whilst walking during our stay in the Ferry House. Had coffee and decided to go back for an evening meal. The food was fantastic. We were the only table in the restaurant but it still had atmosphere. The bar area is lovely with the roaring fire. Selection of whisky is excellent. The fish was cooked... More

My wife and I had an absolutely fabulous time seeing out 2015 and seeing in 2016. The special three night Hogmanay event was brilliant. The food is to die for and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention to Lorraine who solved the mystery of the breeds that combine into our dog.

My girlfriend and I like to make the trip to Port Appin on special occasions so that we can enjoy these wonderful surroundings and delicious food. The fish and chips are a personal favourite - possibly the biggest portion I've ever seen - and it tastes beautiful too. The staff are always extremely pleasant and I congratulate the owners on... We stayed one night after a week away on Skye on a recommendation. Although the hotel sits in a lovely location with a great view, we were a bit disappointed in the room. For £195 we expected a bit more. Tv was temperamental, small and limited but the bathroom was lovely and done to a high standard. Most people come... More

We have just returned from an amazing weekend at The Pierhouse and are already looking to book back up for summer. Roaring log fires, warm and welcoming staff, beautifully decorated rooms with fantastic loch views and amazing seafood truly made for a perfect winter break.
