Auberge de la Source is a wonderful, charming hotel. It feels very remote (you'll want the gps coordinates!) but is 10 mims to honfleur and yet worlds away from the crowds. Veronique is so welcoming! The chef prepared the most delightful food---we ate their for two dinners and lunch....-nd of course, breakfast!!! You will love this little gem! Rooms are... More

Visited here as an overnight stop en route back from the Loire. It is perfectly placed just outside Honfleur and in really beautiful countryside in a lovely setting at the source of the river. The garden is delightful - really peaceful and quite English with an abundance of flowers and apple trees and lots of seats and recliners to snooze... More

This was our second visit to this unique hotel. It is ideal for a romantic get away and the rooms although quite compact have a lot of very tasteful style. We loved the shabby chic and the wonderful animal paintings on driftwood that feature in the restaurant. The gardens are kept beautifully and the running water from the mill stream... More

The beautiful garden setting is perfect to come back to after a Day of touring, very quiet and harmonious with quiet water sounds. The flowers and plantings are gorgeous. The room was well appointed and very up to date with a nice rain shower and nice shower gel, shampoo, the sheets were crisp, the towels were nice and fluffy, the... More

Even in the pouring rain we had a lovely nightstop in this small hotel. Room was delightfully decorated and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast could not be faulted.Lovely gardens with nice sitting and dining areas assuming it does stop raining sometimes. Very rural setting but close to Honfleur.

We stayed here for 3 nights while touring Normandy. We went to DDay beaches one day, Mont St Michel another and the Cider/Camembert route the next. It is also only 7 mins from Honfleur. We arrived in the evening from Paris and the gentleman that checked us in and later served us dinner was not very friendly but Veronique who... More

If you are booking this hotel to experience the quality of the cooking then don't book for a Tuesday Night - unfortunately we did unaware of the fact that the "celebrated" Chef isn't there. Instead we got a very poor meal, cooked, presented and served with no care, flair or attention to detail. A bit of lettuce leaf or a... More

We stayed a couple of nights in late June on a demi pension basis. A delightfully quiet setting in the country with beautifully manicured & attractive gardens. We had one excellent dinner & one rather ordinary one - both well served in a comfortable & attractive dining room. Our bedroom in one of the outbuildings was a little disappointing -... More

My husband and I chose this hotel for its lovely setting, demi-pension option with well-respected restaurant, and convenient location to Normandy sites. We were not disappointed. We chose a suite, which likely makes a difference, as it has an enclosed bathroom. The rooms are rustic in design and furnishings, but quite comfortable. The grounds are lovely and draw many weekenders... More

We were visiting friends in nearby Saint Gatien des Bois and ventured out to the Auberge for dinner one evening. The position is lovely and the garden makes for a wondering place to enjoy a meal. Initially the service was excellent and the waiters very attentive. The wine was chosen (all very expensive) and poured then the bottle placed on... More
