I've just spent a week there skiing with my school, rooms are relatively tidy and decent, although one problem was the bunk bed above me sunk and was almost touching me, showers and toilet area was great, however the wifi there doesn't work, the food isn't all that great and the portions are atrocious, I got a table spoon of... We stayed here for a week on a last minute deal. The rooms are basic. They have furniture but not a lot else. Our room was quite large but was deceptively warm. our room had a big bathroom with powerful shower with lots of hot water after a day on the slopes. Location is great. Very short walk to slopes... We have just returned from our school ski trip to the hotel Roma. It was ideal for our group. The location is great. The slopes are literally 100 steps from the boot room. The hotel is basic and clean. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant at all times. The food was adequate and plentiful although breakfast could probably be... More

This is probably my 16th ski trip from my own school days of Sauze D'Ouze, through most expensive Kitzbuhl hotels. I'm back on the schoolski trips with my 3 children - my 7th in fact. Hotel Roma, Claviere was the best skiing I have ever experienced. The hotel is fantastically located, from bootroom to slopes about 50 steps down a... More

Of all the places I have stayed on a skiing holiday, this is the only one that I would never return to. The only positive is the access to the skiing, and to be fair, that’s what I was there for. For the price we paid (a hugely discounted late availability), I couldn’t really complain, but had I paid the... More

After reading some of the reviews wasn't looking forward to a week here, but was surprised. THe staff were brilliant and the food was just perfect after a busy day on the slopes. Rooms are basic, but comfortable. I would've given 5*s if there were a few sofas downstairs, and a rug int eh bedroom, but that's being picky... you... More

We stayed in Hotel Roma over new year 2012/13, 2 adults one child 13 with Rocketski. We came via Turin with a transfer time of less than one and a half hours. The airport is a lot easier than most of the alps airport’s like Chambery, Grenoble, Genève. Hotel Roma is a 2 star school party type Hotel so should... More
