After a long days drive from London this hotel was ideal for an overnight stop en route to Italy. The room was very comfortable and clean. Good parking area at the back. Will return on our next trip .

Stayed at the hotel at George after being involved in a skiing accident and waiting to be transported back to the UK. Situated in the centre of St Jean de Maurienne, was a great base for me at this time. Has such a lovely warm welcome and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Rooms are very clean with great facilities... More

The hotel is old French style with modern facilities, run by Mother and Son. I stayed for 4 weeks and they made it feel like my second home. the area is renowned for cycling and rock climbing during the summer months, and for skying in the winter. You will need to book well in advance as it fills very quickly.... More

Our two week stay here was perfect, the rooms were clean, functional and had air con. The continental breakfasts were just right for us as we were cycling daily. The staff were very friendly and very efficient, even at peak times. the hotel owner was an incredibly friendly lady and couldn't do enough for us, which helped make our stay... More

We spent one night on our touring holiday. A friendly popular hotel. Rooms have been modernised with aircon. Good Wifi. Good parking thru the archway. Breakfast served at our table. English spoken. Recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the owner , Martine who was delightful. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good. Great hot chocolate. No tea and coffee facilities in room but drinks and snacks available from vending machine after hours. Convenient location. Great value for money. Would highly recommend it.

Stayed for 2 nights in late March. Pleasant, clean, quiet and a bonus of an excellent large double bed (firm, which can be rare in small town hotels). Off-street parking (free) is another nice bonus. Owner was always happy to help. Breakfast seemed a little over-priced for what it was (basic continental) but pleasant enough. Overall, a good experience in... More

It is November and not all hotels are open so we took the first one we found which was open. The hotel is fine and everything works but we thought, at €75 for the night, it was a bit expensive. Breakfast is an extra €11 euros per person which we thought was a lot. But we think this hotel is... More

Clean modern rooms, decent car parking at the rear of the hotel, and a covered area where our motorbikes stayed overnight. There was no food available but there are plenty of places nearby. The lady on reception was very pleasant and helpful, so all good.

Three of us stayed here for a night when we were road biking on some of the local cols (Telegraphe, Galibier, Croix de Fer). The hotel is really friendly, clean and the breakfast is exactly what you need for a big morning's cycling. Martine the owner looked after us really well. She gave us maps, a safe place to store...
