We spent two nights here and greatly enjoyed our time with Jorge and Sheila. Location - The house is perfectly location, very near downtown and strategically placed in between all of the different attractions you may want to visit. Amenities - This was by far the most modern and well-equipped house we stayed in. When we arrived, we were put... More

Jorge and Sheilla are very friendly! They helped us to organise our trip and gave us adresses of others casas in Cuba, we were never disappointed. The casa is located near the attractions. It is very clean and cosy. We also ate a good diner. It one of the best casa that we did in Cuba. You will feel like... More

Jorge spoke english and was very talkative. Our room was near the kitchen and they put there 05:50 the lights on (light came through our door window so we woke up). Then they started breakfast preparations (eg. running mixer) and talking with each other so you couldn't sleep anymore after that. Room was clean and ok. You didn't get keys... More

Jorge and Sheilla are friendly and hospitable people. The food is delicious and the room is very good. Cuba is definitely much better if you exchange the hotels for "casas particulares". Santa Clara worth a visit just because it has the Che Guevara museum.

I travelled around Cuba, from Vinales to Baracoa, for over one month. Among the 2-3 casas that really impressed me, there is Casa Grillo in Santa Clara: Shelia and Jorge welcome you as part of the family. Close to the very centre of the city, it is easy to feel comfortable in the patio, sleep well in the clean and... More
