The attractions started at the bus terminal. Miguel and his friend (a typical cabanero) waited for us in this one of the big, cult and fancy American car. Then it was only better: a colonial and stylish house in the city center, very big and tasty meals and a nice atmosphere. Miguel an extremally helpfull and good person together with... More

We stayed here for one night during our visit to Cuba. The house is beautiful and very central. The rooms were great - clean and comfortable, a lovely balcony and a fridge in the room. Miguel and his family were really lovely and very helpful in organising taxis / trips etc and giving us advice on what to do and... More

We had a very welcoming second night in Cuba thanks to Miguel and his clean and very cute Casa! The food they cooked for us that night for dinner was simple and delicious and we also had fresh fruit in the morning for breakfast. Miguel was really helpful throughout our stay, either booking us a cab for us to go... More

This huge colonial house has 3 bedrooms for rent, all of them have their private bathrooms with 2 doble beds and 1 single; A/C, refrigerator, TV, fans. We loved our room (the one that has 2 balconies over looking parque Vidal). I was a little concern about the noise complains in previous reviews but did not have any problem, by... More

This Casa has an excellent location, comfortable rooms, friendly hosts and amazing food. Myself and my boyfriend dont have any Spanish except yes, no and thank you which did cause some communication problems. But despite one little hiccup regarding bus station pick up we all understood each other quite well with gestures and bits of English/Spanish. Miguel is really friendly... More

On our first trip to Cuba we decided to do an unguided bicycle tour. We began in Santa Clara for two nights to acclimatize and get our bikes assembled etc. and ended our trip there after cycling for nearly two weeks. When we rang the bell at Miguel and Noelis's after our 70 km ride from Cienfuegos it felt like... More

Very beautiful casa with nice hosts. He even came to the bus station to pick us up and organized a taxi to bring us back the next day. Even if he did not speak english and we only know a few words in spanish we managed to communicate. The food was also very good. Unfortunately we went to Santa Clara... More

Great location right in front on Main Square. Very nice and safe building with friendly owners. I stayed on the rooftop room which was clean and quiet. The food was excellent, large breakfast with lots of fresh fruit, and great dinner as well. Will defenitely return!

We didn't book anything in Santa Clara and went to a hostal which was recommended in the lonely planet. This hostal was fully booked, but the guy made a phonecall to this hostal. We entered a very beautiful house - high ceilings - very nice decorated - very clean and just very nice to be. We slept in a big... More

The owner cares about nothing. All he wants is your cash. He is not interested in anything else. Since the hostal is located on the corner of the main square, there is no quiet. Since Santa Clara inhibitants seem to be alcoholics all, there is only noise, shouting and fighting on the streets. Parking is not available, owner sends you... More

We regret that the client has taken the bad review from our Cuban family home. It is only necessary to clarify that the client tells us, upon arrival, coming upset because he had no reservation in our house, but another that was completely occupied. In addition, it also tells us that from Viñales and Matanzas had been experiencing the same... More
