5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

Even though I am over a year late to write this review I had to do this because you can not miss this hotel, its perfect service and the most beautiful beach. I was visiting this luxury hotel in April 2014 with my friend. We only had a short stay as we were island hopping but we both regret afterwards... More

This is our second time on the island and our second time at Anacaona. We love it here. The tropical airy feel of the accommodations is very appealing. The staff is WONDERFUL!!! Very friendly and most welcoming. Everything is clean and well kept. The entire property is peaceful. The short walk to the beach is relaxing and once you are... More

After spending 9 days at 2 high end resorts on other islands, we felt like saving a bit for our 3 days in Anguilla. The Anacaona is an excellent bargain, and would be especially good for families, groups, or long-term stays on the island. The restaurant, though not inexpensive, is very good especially for breakfast. For true bargain hunters their... More

my wife and i have stayed at anacaona several times over the years. we have always enjoyed the property, and we have come to regard the employees as friends. anacaona became our second home. this trip was radically different: 1. we had 14 food and beverage charges where the service charge was masked as "tax." we were not informed of... We would like to say thanks to this guest for pointing out their experiences at Anacaona both good and bad over the last 4 years on Trip Advisor. We do not wish to address the grievances outlined in this review, as much of the review lacks credibility. However, to ensure that readers do not feel as though Anacaona is a... More

Small, older hotel, best value on the island. Being older, the room lacked ordinary amenities, like enough places to put things or hang wet swimsuits. During our stay, there were several power problems. The engaging, interested and friendly staff more than made up for the problems. Within walking distance is a store for snacks. Even though the beach is readily... More

The property is older and it's nothing fancy but it's still very attractive and just what you need for a laid back, simple beach vacation. Food wasn't that great but rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool is below average and could use some updating but who needs a pool when you're surrounded by a warm, clear blue ocean? Our... More

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children (2&6) stayed in the 3 bedroom villa. The villa has 3 separate bedrooms(2 king beds & one room with 2 double beds) each with its own bath and joined by a screened in porch. At the end of the porch connecting each bedroom is a great room with a full working kitchen,... More

Three of us stayed here in February 2015. We had a lovely junior suite,(king size room with a view, a pull out sofa, kitchenette, a big spa bathroom, and a veranda). The beach at Meads Bay was a short walk. Our suite was very comfortable, the pools were lovely and the restaurant wonderful (be sure to try the red snapper).... More

The hotel is well-cared for, with many flowering bushes, fruit trees, and gardens that provide fresh vegetables for the restaurant. Everyone is welcoming, responsive, and the food is very good. Our standard room was large and comfortable, with a balcony looking toward the beautiful blue/green water. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is not right on the beach, but it’s only a few minutes’ walk along a small path to Meads Bay on the north coast in the western part of Anguilla. Meads Bay beach is very nice. White sand, turquoise water and not at all crowded. Anacaona provides sun beds and umbrellas free of charge for hotel quests on... More
