Howard and Ruth run an amazing B&B. They are warm gracious hosts who look after every need. They have a sixth sense on when you are seeking privacy or lively company. The rooms are big and spacious. Everything is sparkling clean. The beds and linens make you never want to get up - simply perfect! The breakfasts and dinners are... More

This was my second trip to Minette Bay Lodge in Kitimat. I traveled here on tour with my dance company and both stays at the lodge were heavenly. This is the BEST place to stay in Kitimat. Howard and Ruth are fantastic hosts, the lodge is beautiful, warm, and cozy. The beds are perfection. The breakfasts are amazing. The service... More

I stayed at the wonderful Minette Bay lodge earlier this year. Wonderful place and very secluded and quiet. Great hosts. Delicious breakfast. Nice rainforest and view in backyard. I would definately stay there again. Wonderful fluffy beds and the best robes ever.

I stayed at the beautiful Minette Bay Lodge while on business in May. The staff were wonderful and the room was plush and so comfortable. This is a B & B beyond any I have every been to. The breakfast was wonderful and the view from the back porch just stunning. Very peaceful and quiet. I hope to stay again... More

My wife and I spent 5 nights at MBL and we so enjoyed ourselves that it was sad to say goodbye to Howard and Ruth who treated us like family. The rooms are tastefully furnished with feather beds, and the most gorgeous robes. Breakfasts were varied and scrumptious, and the evening drinks in the library around a cozy fire were... More

Host and Hostess go out of their way to make the Lodge a pleasant place to stay. Very nice breakfasts, refreshments, and bathroom amenities. However, beware of two things: bathrooms are shared, and mosquitoes are plentiful inside the Lodge. All in all, a lovely, quiet place to stay.

We have stayed at Minette Bay Lodge numerous times. The Lodge and its setting is without any exaggeration absolutely stunning, set beneath British Columbia's Coastal Mountains, with the gardens leading to down to Minette Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Internally and externally the quality of the property and facilities is five star. The area provides some of the best skiing... More

An oasis of luxury nestled in the wild heart of British Columbia! Sitting in the hot tub with cold beer in hand looking out across the croquet lawn to Minette Bay with seals poking their heads above water and Eagles soaring overhead you feel like a king lording over his kingdom. Howard and Ruth, the charming hosts, organised hiking, ocean... More
