Decent room was kept clean. WiFi is terrible. Would often disconnect and when you get a stable connection it is about as fast as dialup. The resturaunt next door Is very good. Don't miss the sea food buffet on Friday and Saturday I think? Great selection and was less then 20$.

Besides the great eatery here the room is clean fresh and well appointed. The teensy fridge and 2 sets of towels are generally in the low end cheap places so its out of place here. The TV scroll TV guide is on ch 11. Stay here to overlook the ferry ships.

Motel North is a part of the Hotel North group. it is 20 minutes away at Northwest River and is worth the drive. we had a 2 bedroom large unit and it was amazing. should of booked an extra night. best accommodations of our whole trip. is a new facility with about 10 units (one and two bedroom).

The evening staff wasn't terribly friendly to me when I stopped in last month. The wifi wouldn't connect unless I was leaning against the room doorway, and the walls were thin. Amenities a bit slim, save for an overpriced snack basket. Cost $175 a night near peak season- if it had been warmer I would have just sat outside. I... More

The Hotel North in Goose Bay NL was an adequate place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities that we needed during our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in suffered a bit from thin walls and a noisy hallway, but we survived. As is the case with any hotel /... More

I was stuck in Goose Bay on a business trip and was so happy to find the Hotel North 1 for my stay. I liked the lobby. There were some cool souvenirs for purchase and I picked up a nice polar bear t-shirt. The room was clean and comfortable. The wifi was fast.

My five night stay at this hotel was very good. I was given an efficiency Suite for a very reasonable fee. The room was very clean and the hospitality staff were very good. However I feel the front desk staff could have been a little friendlier. The suite offered most of the kitchen utensils that one would need for the... More

Nice accommodations, great service. Walls are a little thin, next door noises can be heard quite easily. On site restaurant with good meals and fast service. Fast food restaurants and a Jungle Jim's nearby. Ample parking.

By visiting Goose Bay you are, by definition, a bit out in the wild, so this hotel, although basic, is a clean and pleasant place to stay. The Mariner's Grill serves some excellent food. Hotel prices are a bit expensive, but there is very little competition.

I stayed here in November 2014 on a one night paid for business trip so cost wasn’t an issue. The outside looks a bit industrial but that’s just by the way and irrelevant. Checking in was quick and efficient. I was placed in an adjacent building across a driveway. The room was a good size, clean and well decorated. Double... More
