The hotel was closed when we arrived and doesn't open until 5.30pm! The first room we were offered was tiny and scruffy. The next was larger and scruffy. The corridor outside had paper peeling off and the "ceiling" was made up of cardboard boxes laid flat across the rafters. The room smelled musty and unused.

I was taught by my parents that if you cannot say anything good about something , say nothing, I must however break this golden rule after staying in this Hotel. Les Flandres is a very tired hotel indeed. We arrived and were soon given our key to our room and direction to its location. This was up a steep narrow... More

Is's located near the train station, but in a very strange district: there are lots of Arabian, Indian and other people, restaurants and shops. You need to park your car near the train station (about 1 km from the hotel).A room are very small, bathroom is dirty. It's good to stop for 1 night, not more.

Stopped over on a London 2 Paris bike ride with a friend in September. A very warm reception, and then they rustled up a plateau repas at 23h30!! Grand breakfast set us up well for the ride to Paris! Rooms in progress of being renovated but our's was finished and perfectly acceptable. Would recommend.

we stayed here for two nights whilst on a short family break. The couple running the hotel were very nice, and helpful. We ate in the restaurant the first night and had a great meal- we wished we had done the same the following night. the beds were comfortable and our room was cleaned for us during the day. This... The Hotel les Flandres struggles to compete with a modern hotel, with some dated decor (especially the guest corridor on the first floor), yet the room we had was spotless, with a sparkling modern bathroom; it was small with a dubious colour scheme, but the sheets were clean, the bed comfortable and the towels plentiful and fluffy. The restaurant was packed... More

I stayed here towards the end of a week touring in France. I stayed at Les Trois Fontaines at Marconne on my first night. This is a 10 minute walk from Hotel les Flandres. On subsequent nights I used the Logis de France Guide and was not let down - until Hotel les Flandres. Location is pretty good - close... More

Stopped in this Hotel October 2009 with 7 friends, all blokes on a cycling tour of the Somme. We booked because it was central to our planned cycle route. On arrival the receptionist (Carolyn) very miserable gave us 4 rooms all with double beds. After complaining for a while she re allocated us with the twin rooms we had originally... More

Booked this hotel through the Office de Tourisme in Le Touquet when they were full! Hesdin in a quiet typical French town and I would say that this hotel is a typical small French hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and well serviced. For the price we paid (58€ per night!) they were fine. Had no problems at all... More

This is the only time we have not been happy with a Logis de France hotel. We shouldn't have stayed, really, but we wanted to be in Hesdin and thought the Logis de France 'brand' would be ok. The woman who appeared to be the owner was not rude, exactly, but unsmiling and indifferent to everything except our credit card... More
