Like the title says, let down. I will start with the good points, close to Normandy beaches, that's it. On entering our room there was an unpleasant odour as if the room had never had the windows open, musty. The toilet was narrow and gave the impression you had to reverse in so as to make your exit easier. Although... More

This hotel was misrepresented. The price listed did not include 'tax' and, without being advised, we were charged €5 for two cups of tea on our arrival. It is very poor value for money compared with others in the area, is poorly located for restaurants but is close to the beach. The bed was not good, but the bathroom was... More

Our experience was terrible and I paid a significant amount of money to get a ferry back to the UK that evening rather than endure a stay in a room within their 'overspil' site that was tatty, damp, cold and enclosed with windows that had mould growing all over the sealant. The images on their website are almost all from... More

Dirty smelly staircase to rooms - small, 4 ft beds, tiny shower. Married friends had to ask for extra bed in room. Man at desk offered no information re breakfast but decided to go elsewhere as such a depressing place. Also offered no help with suitcase up stairs. Sadly this was the nearest available to the ferry and nowhere to... More

Booked as close to the ferry. Questionable sheets and slightly dodgy odour to room. Felt like a poor b&b. I got an earlier ferry rather than a divorce - it was that bad! Man at the desk was nice but I am not staying in a '70s room for €130. Nothing locally - needed to drive for dinner. Eurocamp sorted... More

Pros: good hotel for the price. Good clean rooms and very close to the beach. Pretty helpful and friendly staff. Cons: Small rooms/beds/showers. (but price is cheap, so its a compromise i guess) Fairly old building so can get a big noisy depending on who you neighbors are.

Stayed one night before taking the morning ferry. Booked a twin room with shower but was put into a connecting double/twin arrangement as the twin had only a washbasin. We were the only guests in the hotel so can't comment on any noise etc as it was only us. The rooms, very basic were only just warm enough but the... More

My wife and I arrived in France on the ferry from Portsmouth at 21.30h. I had informed the hotel that we would be arriving after 20.00h as requested. The hotel was in complete darkness when we arrived, the street light on the opposite side of the road gave very little light. I went to the door to find a bell... More

Reception was friendly and helpful but the room on second floor very tired and to be honest had a 'sleazy hotel' feel to it. Bed seemed clean enough which is main thing for a one night stopover but the road was noisy and I felt that I may as well have been sleeping with next door guests (soundproofing 0). Handy... More

After reading some of the other reviews on here I was quite worried about staying here. It was the first night of our holiday and we arrived quite late at night. We rang the bell at the front door and were told our room number and directed to the side entrance. The room was clean and a decent size and... More
