I reserved two rooms at this hotel on the internet. One for myself and one for my elderly father who is an 87 year old veteran of the D.Day landings. I don't know what photos they used for their ad, but there certainly aren't any of the room we were allocated!! I am sorry to say that we went up to our room, looked in and quickly left. On booking we checked that an arrival about 11pm would be in order as our ferry was due to dock at 10.30pm at Ouistreham. This we were told would not be a problem. We stayed 3 nights in a lovely large room. It was clear that money had been spent refurbishing and that this was an ongoing process. The couple running the hotel (who spoke some English) were friendly and obliging and the breakfast was pretty good by French continental breakfast standards. Overall, good value and a real taste of France. more

This is definitely NOT a 2 star hotel. I would say it is no more than a bed and breakfast place. We booked 2 superior rooms and asked for one room on a lower floor for my mother in law who is 82.
