Restaurant superb, service brilliant. Booked a superior room with sea view, which turned out to be in an annex 60 yards along the sea front. Initial view was one of great disappointment, especially as we had to climb two flights of outdoor wooden stairs (this would be a real mobility issue), but the room itself with the superb sea view,... Our room had a main room with a loft and was located in the Cottage down the street from the restaurant/hotel. Location to Centre Juno Beach was perfect, as well as walking distance to the ocean and other restaurants. The room however, did not seem to have air conditioning and it was extremely warm in the room as there is... More

We booked two rooms in the Cottage which is set back from the beach and main Hotel. Both rooms were excellent and very reasonably priced. Wifi was available in the Cottage (both rooms), breakfast was the usual mix of croissants, cereals, meats, cheeses you'd expect in the area and was very good. We also used the restaurant on three occasions... More

We stopped off here for a drink on their beach terrace. The waitress could not seem to get the order correct and came with the wrong things. They seem to have an attitude problem in addition to this. The decor in the restaurant area looks lovely, very contemporary but it was completely empty. However It is difficult to find the... More

We booked, as we thought, a room in the hotel from their website, overlooking the sea. When we arrived the hotel looked as per the website, but then we were escorted to our room, over 300 meters away and one street back. Started to get very worried, but then we were given the room, a brand new first class luxury... More

On arrival the staff were very busy with a lunchtime service in the restaurant, but we were checked in quickly and efficiently. The hotel is actually about 300yds from the main restaurant where you check in, so if you have a disability bear this in mind when booking. The rooms were lovely and had a small balcony and an upstairs... More

La Crémaillère has the advantages of a decent location near Juno Beach and of not forcing clients with more than one child to book two rooms, which is typical french hotel practice. The rooms are separated from the restaurant building by a road and 100 mètres or so. Ours had two beds plus a loft with a Queen bed. The... More

We were doing a road trip along all the Normandy D-Day beaches in June and had come to this one around 4pm to check in, not many hotels in this town and this one was right on the beach. I know it had been all the commemorations the week before and to be honest and fair to La Cremaillere it... More

This hotel is old and needs updating. We stayed in a suite, which had a double bed in a loft (which was very hit with no A/C or fan. The bottom floor had twin beds pushed together. The location is close to the beach, but not on it, as the picture suggests. The restaurant is on the beach, but the... More
