we stayed for a weekend, which i don't think was long enough as we were busy out sight seeing! we are regretful that we didn't have enough time to look around the chateau its self as it is beautiful. we woke both mornings to a beautiful view outside after having slept so well in our comfortable bed. we asked for... This was a 'find' when we were looking for accommodation in the area. It is a chateau which the current owners have retuned to habilitation after it was in some respects ruined during the war. The rooms are well laid out, the breakfast is worth having just for the dining room alone. I would recommend this to anyone, it was... More

Very impressive building in nice grounds. We stayed in a superior room which was very comfortable with a large, modern bathroom. Breakfast is a bit bland with just a croissant, cold meat and some cheese, also rather pricey at 10 euros a time. The hosts are friendly and helpful . There is some road noise if you have windows open but it's... More

We spent a night at the Chateau in early April. The house is stunningly beautfiul. Our room was upstairs to the left, overlooking the front garden/driveway of the house. The room was enormous with high ceilings and all the amenities. Very tasteful and elegant. Lovely modern bathroom. Our hostess is charming! The breakfast available the next morning was excellent with... More

Enjoyable stay in nice period style accommodation. Nice friendly hosts who keen to share the history of the chateau. Breakfast has a good selection of meats cheeses and pastries as well as reasonable selection of warm drinks. We had a good stay here and the owners were happy to recommend local dining establishments. The only caveat I would give is a... More

We got lost on the way there (first trip to France) and while the adventure afforded some lovely discoveries, we were exhausted by the time we arrived, soaked to the gills due to unrelenting rain all day. Our hosts were waiting for us, ready to help us get comfortable. They have done a fabulous job of restoring this chateau. Our... More

Fantastic location. The chateau was beautiful. Very convenient for restaurants and visiting locations such as Bayeaux and pegasus bridge . Great value would stay there again Just needed a few extra touches to reach perfection such as little bottles of bath oil and water in fridge

Pros: Beautiful and lovely chateau, very nicely decorated room (we stayed in the Louis XVI Bedroom), warm service, our room even had a terrace, price was very reasonable, easy and free onsite parking Cons: The shower area went for style over substance - no place to hang the showerhead and the water tended to splash everywhere whatever you did -... Chateau is beautiful and peaceful. Location is great, close to Juno Beach Centre, town centre is just a few minutes walk. Interior is full of character. Our room had a private terrace. Owners were away but we were well looked after by Miriam who was very friendly and helpful. She explained interesting and extensive history of the Chateau. Highly recommend... More
