We checked in here on spec for one night and were very impressed. The room was lovely and comfortable with some unusual and clever decorations. The location is great, we were just having an evening on the coast before our ferry home early next morning. So in half a day we visited the Caen Memorial before getting to Courseulles, had... More

Spent 3 nights here over last weekend. Actually had rooms in the Manoir, just 300 metres or so around the corner. The rooms were compact but very nicely decorated and fitted out. We enjoyed the private parking and the quiet little park area behind the Manoir. Had dinner at La Pecherie on our first night and it was very good... More

Loved this hotel & would have liked to have stayed more than one night! The decor was quirky & unusual - our room was large & comfortable over looking the front of the hotel. We ate in the restaurant & the food was superb, a great place to stay.

good clean room, good shower and cleaned very well. Had a days use of the town bikes for free. Easy to park near for free. The restaurant was good but the drinks pricey, other restaurants offered better value, but no complaints on the food and service. Did not have breakfasts but they appeared on the bill, which they took off... More

Rooms are either in the main hotel (very close to the beach) or in Le Manoir, a very French, impressive, attractive, old but tastefully modernised house about four minutes stroll away in a side street. Our room was at Le Manoir. From the outside, the building is full of charm. We noticed it got lots of admiring glances and attention... More

as our last stay after 3 weeks in Europe we were promised an upgrade and compliementary drinks on arrival ..........on arrival we were directed to a annexe to the hotel and a tiny room , very hot , poor internet connection, a cupboard for a loo and an odd bathroom ..... plus piped music! . We ate in the main... More

we stayed here for one night on route to Caen ferry port. The gentleman on Reception explained that they were full in the actual hotel but had a room in an annexe up the road. He went on to tell us that the room was small which didn't worry us because it was going to be for one night. We... More

Unusual having the rooms in a different building (about 400 m away from reception and the restaurant), but, none the less they were very good. Service was excellent, the evening meal one of the best I have ever had. Don't expect to lose weight dining here. One downside to the room we had, it was on the third floor and... More

A small, quirky hotel with an excellent restaurant. Great location (free parking) on a quiet square close to the beach. Its an old building with some add-ons so no surprise to find tight stairs, low ceilings etc. Although on the Normandy beaches circuit, Courseulles seems to cater mostly for French visitors and that is true of La Pecherie also. Its... More

We were very dissapointed with this hotel , prompting me for the first time to write a bad review of a hotel. Our room was tiny, we had no where to put our case except the floor, which meant climbing over it to get out of bed. The toilet was a no bigger than a cupboard, which really meant you... More
