We recently booked to stay at Carbis Wharf for a weekend in September. On arrival, we were shown to our cottage and able to park outside which was handy to carry bags in etc. there were 3 bedrooms, in one room, the beams we extremely low, so we had to watch out for that. No arrival wine as other guests... More

Having done a lot of research we have returned home having spent a week with family staying in the Kilns cottage at Carbis Wharf. The location is great for getting around, it's extremely close to the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens and only 1:30 drive from Lands End should you wish to visit. The cottage was clean and tidy... We recently stayed in 'The Kilns' holiday cottage at Carbis Wharf with family. The building is an old converted China Clay dry and there are interesting things to see at the property itself and some information on the history of the bulidings is provided with the rest of the visitor information in the accommodation for you to read should you... Myself and my family stayed in the Kilns self catering accommodation and were absolutely delighted when we saw the size of the place. There are four double bedrooms, huge living room and a well equipped kitchen right down to the dishwasher. Carbis Wharf couldn't be better placed for touring Cornwall as it is very central for all popular locations and... More

My daughter chose Carbis Wharf out of a selection of B&B's I hoped had vacancies. Anne was very polite on the phone when I made our booking. Upon arrival, Anne greeted us & showed us to our room which was spacious, clean and ample for my family & myself. There are self catering units or b&b rooms which we stayed in.... More

Stayed here 27 June-4 July with family in house #1. Was absolutely amazed at the size of the house. Was not expecting it to be that big. Was welcomed with a bottle of wine on the kitchen table, very nice touch! Nice spacious living room and master bedroom with doors that opened out onto a stoned area with table and... More

I stayed her for 2 nights with family and friends and cannot recommend it enough. The place has been converted from a clay mill into a high quality b&b. We had the entire place to ourselves. The rooms are spacious, clean and finished to a good standard. The owners are friendly welcoming and helpful. And to top it off the... More

Stayed the 3rd week in July for 2 nights. I really liked the casual approach and space around the place. It was very quiet and easy parking for a car. Carbis Warf was a handy place to stay while exploring villages in Cornwall. Anne has owned the place for about 8 years. She and her daughter run it and keep... More

Stayed here a number of times over the years and it's always been excellent. Accommodation is spacious and very clean. The surroundings are very relaxing and well kept. The family that run Carbis Wharf are really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. They do a fantastic job. We will be back again soon.
