The hotel is located in Cerkno, a very small municipality, known by a nearby ski slope and many natural attractions. We only stayed in the hotel over the weekend, but we would most definitely have more than enough to do even if we stayed for a week. Hotel is quite big, has an elevator, is very clean, and the staff... More

we spent a weekend in Hotel Cerkno. The ladies at reception were nice and helpful. The rooms are clean, beds and pillows are comfortable, the bathroom is spaciousand clean. The food is very average and it was self service with not much choice. The hotel was clean inside but the outside (the facade and the rusty air-conditions) is a bit... More

We spent a week in january in the Hotel Cekrno, for the first time. The hotel is nice, rooms are ok, the staff is really frinedly and eager to help. The food is average, but good. The pool, actually the town pool, connected to the hotel with a corridor, is very good, clean, although usually open in the afteroon. The... More

Food was very good, rooms were clean, it has a pool and it's nice to have a swim after whole day of skiing. There is a bus that takes you to ski center Cerkno for free. Wifi could be better, in our room signal was very low (in some other room it was probably better).

The room was spacious, but the bathroom is small. The hotel is clean and quiet, situated in a beautiful surroundings. The food in the restaurant is very good. We appreciate that the local traditional dishes were also on the menu. The management and the staff did their best to make our stay a pleasant one. We suggest visiting the following... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Since we arrived by public transport, we didn't have chance to visit everything we wanted, but thanks to the hotel's friendly and helpfull staff we did see some of the highlights of Cerkno and surroundings. Don't miss the ski center Cerkno, a beautiful top of the mountain where you can walk and... More

Tucked in the green hills of Slovenia, Cerkno has hiking, biking and cultural sites of interest. The clandestine wartime hospital from WWII is located a few miles away in a stunning gorge, and the town's local museum is charming. My special thanks to staff members Majda and Darian, who encouraged me to climb nearby Porezen Peak, where nearly all of... More

We stayed in this hotel for the weekend and were quite satisfied. It is clean, the staff were helpful (especially this lady who is, I guess, the hotel manager- a smile and a short chat really do make a difference, she could teach that her younger colleagues). The food was ok, but I think it can get really boring and... More

if you are going to stay in Cerkno this seems to be the only place.Probably OK for skiing but in the autumn a rather sad empty place. loads of steps to climb whichever way you come in. staff very pleasant and helpful. food by buffet system..plentiful but very plain. When constructed probably very modernist but now looks somewhat faded
