This is the most beautiful place. The abbey has been very well restored, furnished and designed. The rooms are large, cool and clean. we were very excited to go to this property. unfortunately the excitement quickly wore off, it is just not worth the money. the staff was generally very helpful - but the property as a whole leaves a lot to wish for. it just feels like there is a lot missing here, i think i can understand what relais santa anastasia... more

Beautiful property. The Hotel decor is intresting but appears to have been decorated by amatures. The location is very isolated with only a pool and walking for activities. The hotel, a refurbed convent/monastery, is lavishly tastefully if not extravagantly furnished. We loved this place. Great rooms. Wonderful meals. Some will not enjoy the curvey road up mountain to get there, but it's worth the drive. Best to hire local to drive you there. Jack in California more

This small hotel in a converted abbey is a real treat. The rooms are very large and luxurious. The pool area is beautiful with a view of the surrounding vinyards and the sea in the distance. The wines produced here are among the finest in Sicily. At around 250 euros/night it is way undervalued. Stay here before the rates double.... more
